Greetings from Rutland County, Vermont! |
Please read the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) and the following:
Please use the edit tab on the upper right hand corner of the memorial in question.
If at all possible, please provide a source (an unsourced family tree on the internet - not a good source). I do try and verify, as unfortunately I do get sent a lot of incorrect info.
I will not link to a memorial without final disposition information. PERIOD. Please do not ask. See here and here. If you did not know the final disposition, you should not have made a memorial.
I will not add post-1922 obits.
Within guidelines, yes! Always! Please state your exact relationship in your request so I know it is within guidelines, and I'll take care of it right away.
I no longer do out of guidelines transfers. I don't need to "own" the memorials for all my relatives, and you don't either. If you really want to make a memorial as complete as possible, please send me the info via the edit tab.
USE OF MY PHOTOS
Please feel free to use my photos for your research! No need to ask. All I ask is that if it is going elsewhere on the web, just provide a photo credit along the lines of "Photo by Jen Snoots, Findagrave.com". Please use only within reason, do not help yourself to entire cemeteries full of my photos.
All grave and cemetery photos added by me on this site were taken by me, and if you see them elsewhere without my name attached to them, I consider them as having been used without permission.
The above pertains to MY PHOTOS ONLY, not to other contributors photos. Per site policy: "Photos posted to memorials on Find A Grave are copyrighted by the member who submitted the photos. Lifting the photo to use elsewhere would be a violation of copyright. You must obtain written permission from the member to use any photo for your own use. In general if you did not take the photo yourself, you do not hold the copyright to the photo."

|LizK18-CT||RE: Matthew Fox|
Thanks for the message. I fixed Matthew Fox (baby) and have his parents linked to him now.
I was looking at the wives date of death which I think is what whoever transcribed the cemetery did on the records I have. that was a good catch.
Scratch that.... I got confused!!!!! You are right! Geesh....I need better glasses. thanks!
the grave photos are on the wrong memorials. The one that is mine says 65 years and has a date of jan 11 1857 but the stone says 1856. I will fix that BUT You have THAT photo on the other grave . please correct. thanks
Bless you my child for getting this straightened out. What a nightmare. This is happening frequently on find agrave. Most people are pretty nice about making corrections or deleting a dup. Some aren't. Some won't even respond, in which case I just make a note by leaving flowers.
Always happy to do as you say. I trust you. I know this is hard. I sure hope future researchers appreciate it. But know that I am a huge fan of your accurate work.
I have many people in Vermont. They go way, way back. Not that you need to but if you run across Lock, Locke or Crane, let me know. But don't worry about it. I can also just follow you along on Find A Grave. Dang - I wish it wasn't "Find A Grave" don't you but I am lazy and don't want to write it out. LOL

Thank you for connecting Lydia to her parents and including specific death info in her memorial.

Many thanks for the extremely fast turn around time on this photo......Did not know about his son William.....Do you have photos of other Boutwells, Boutelles or Bowtells that are not posted on the Evergreen Find A Grave web site?
|Carol Darling||RE: Prior / Prier|
I have done memorials for Charles & Emma, so you can link their children.
Jen, thanks so much for getting the photos of John & Nellie O'Neill. I really appreciate it.
Dupe has been deleted.
