Would you be willing to give me control of the find a grave record for John Ewing 1821-1857 in the Buckeye cemetery? I have a whole saga to tell about him, have his war of 1812 records, pension papers, etc. I'm interested because I've done a lot of research on this family and sorting out the Ewing's is not easy, but John is a half brother to my Charles A. Ewing buried in Wayne Co also. I also took a photo of John's stone last week. We live in MN but my husband ties back to James Ewing who came to Wayne Co in 1818. Been researching a long time on this line. John was married to Mary McClung and for some reason she is buried across the cemetery and his stone is in a bed of irises; I'm thinking his stone fell over and they moved it to this flower garden within the last 20 yrs.

I just ran across your entry for Jonathan Stinson. I think this might be my great great great grandfather. Is it possible the name is Johnson Stinson instead of Jonathan Stinson? He was living in Wayne County in the 1870 census and passed away the same year. You have an inscription that he was in the Co I, 9th Ky inf. My ggg-grandfather Johnson was in the 9th inf of KY. It seems like a big coincidence that 2 men from Ky with similar names would have died in the same Illinois County and served in the same inf. I noticed Prenna E. Gash's name is shown as enna E. Gash. She shares a marker with Samuel N. Gash. Just a quick little fix that might help someone someday. Thank you! Hi David, You created a duplicate for Maj. Scott. You had already created one, and transferred it to me recently. 41347940 I filled in the blanks and requested a photo. A KEMP (#47561566) provided the photos. But then you created a duplicate memorial 41347940 for the photo. Can you delete the duplicate which has almost no info, and move the photos to the one I am maintaining?
