Lloyd Setters Rice
I note that you say you knew Lloyd's brother.
Lloyd was a first cousin of my husband. I knew that his father either died or he and his wife divorced but we are not aware of a brother. Call you fill me in on the Rice family. I do genealogy. Thank you. Vickey Setters; vsetters29@comcast.net

Lunch
Hi Dale,
I lost a very dear friend to mouth cancer. She noticed slight bump in mid September. It was diagnosed on Oct. 16 and died on November 23.
That is why I haven't been on in a while. I am very sorry that your lunch invitation wasn't seen. If your invitation for lunch still stands; please call me. My cell# is 8125841101 or can be reached at Joseph Cadillac #8595252500. Otherwise, please feel free to send me a message on Findagrave.
Your Friend Phil

Thanks for the additional information. I have copied and pasted it on the actual Memorial so it will not be lost in the future.
Have a wonderful day.

Look rorward to talking to you.
Hi Dale, That sounds great; always enjoy discussing family history. Would like to obtain a copy of the Ashcraft book. Is it available on-line? My phone number is 812-584-1101. As I am an Indiana boy; work at Joseph Cadillac in Florence, Ky. My Paternal Great-Grandmother is Eliza (Nee Ashcraft) Stephenson. She is the daughter of Samuel H. and Caroline A. Hutchison and is buried in Greendale, Indiana. I have several family members (Ashcrafts and Stephenson) buried in Pendleton and Grant Counties. Please feel free to call anytime. Your Friend, Phil

This according to FamilySearch.Org.:
Ichabod Ashcraft is belived to have emigrated with his family from Edinburgh, Scotland, ca. 1730, and settled in Berkeley County West Virginia. His grandson, Ichabod Ascraft, was born in 1737, the son of Daniel and Elizabeth Lewis Ashcraft. He married Sarah Elizabeth Coleman, ca. 1760. They had at least seven children. The family migrated from Sleepy Creek, West Virginia, to Fayette County, Pennsylvania, ca. 1769. He was a captain in the Revolutionary War. He died ca. 1804 in Fayette County. Descendants listed, chiefly descendants of his son Daniel B. Ashcraft (1761- 1846), lived in Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, and elsewhere.

Ashcraft Family Tree Question
Hi Dale,
This is Philip W. Rupp. According to my research: Ichabod Ashcraft is the father of John Ashcraft. John Ashcraft is the father of Daniel; who is the father of the Ichabod born in 1737. According to the following (found at FamilySearch.Org): the elder Ichabod is the grandfather to the younger Ichabod. But my research shows that the relationship between the two Ichabod(s) would not be Grandfather, but Great-Grandfather. Any help would mean so very much. Your Friend, Phil

P.S. Thank You for the earlier invitation to your Ashcraft (Ancestry.Com); have been having troubles for a few months now with E-mail. When it is corrected, I'll let you know.
