Bio and Links
Bio Photo Please let me know if you find a mistake or something I can add to a memorial. While I have walked many a cemetery, I get most of my information from historic books/obit's/bio's and newspaper articles. The newspapers were not so concerned with correct spelling or dates, and some of the tombstones themselves are hard to read...so while I try the best I can to be accurate, I do make typo's and admit...Im not perfect.

If you would like me to transfer a memorial to you for one of your friends/loved ones, let me know, I will be glad to. I am not interested in giving memorials for the purpose of numbers, if they are close to you I don't mind, if you just want someone else to do the work for you, I do.

The reason I love Find A Grave is:
When I was a little girl my grandfather was a grave digger. He used to pick me up and take me with him, getting to the cemetery at dusk, as back then you dug the graves by hand, equipment was a no-no. He taught me to respect a cemetery.
Its the last place and the last chance for the person who has passed on....to have someone remember them.
He taught me to think about that little dash between the birth and death date. That tiny little dash represents the persons entire life.
It doesn't tell you if they were a parent, if they had hardships, if they were rich or poor, but it shows that they lived on earth and were loved by someone.
My friends thought I was crazy to go with him to help dig graves at night, he would say, "no one in here can hurt you, it's the one's outside this place that can".
We need to preserve our cemetery's....the final records of our life.
I consider everyone's life important and even tho I don't know most of the folks I have entered God knows them, and their life means something to Him. I hope this helps their family and friends, and future generations, who can log on to FAG and find out a little genealogy.
FAG gives a voice to those who are not in the history books, or the sports records, they let us put our family, the true hero's of our past who make us what we are, or will become in the future, out there for the world to see and honor.

I thank God for saving me, blessing me with the hope of Heaven, and giving us Jesus and the Holy Spirit....where would any of us be without Him?

If you would take a minute to visit my uncle Nathan

and cousin who were both killed in Korea, it would mean the world to me:

RE: Charles McGregor
Hi Beverly, you are very welcome. I did an edit suggestion for the other entry based on his birth/death dates on your page. (maybe you tried that already). Thanks for putting in the note about his entry on the East Coast Memorial. I thought it only appropriate.

I know what you mean by it being more difficult for those of us putting up the information. Before I accept changes, I normally check the information out. I have sometimes rejected a requested change because it is contrary to legit info. Thank you for what you do for Find-A-Grave.

Beverly,
May I use your photos for Susanna and her spouse Daniel for my personal research?
As a volunteer myself, I know what's involved in doing the photos, so I do not want to take someone's work without their permission.

In the winter I hibernate so everyone will probably be bombarded with info. I seem to stumble across info and add it to the stacks of "find a home for" papers. Then it takes weeks to clear it all out.

RE: Pardee
Hi!
Thanks for responding so quickly. I know we need a better photo, but I guess that the information and death dates and ages were more of my concern.
Many Thanks!
Sue

I don't know if I am diligent or just plain nosy. I do know that you strive to have accurate info on your postings.

Thank you so very much
I have just finished reading your Bio. What wonderful thoughts and memories. You have given your Grandfather a wonderful legacy.

I would like to know if you are related to the Gollman family members in Medina, Ohio. If you are not I would like to know if you would be willing to transfer those that I have found that you have entered. I have a few things to fill in the (-) between the dates.

Thank you again for helping me find our lost family members.

Sincerely grateful for your love of cemeteries
