I agree completely. How wonderful that both your Parents were in the Navy in WW2!! My Grandparents were both in the Army with my Grandmother being a nurse and my Grandfather being a medic. My Grandmother got out of the Army when she married but would have been at Pearl Harbor during the attack had she not gotten out. I understand completely!!! I see people leave medals that are completely wrong or military patches that are for the wrong service and it just drives me crazy!!! I got onto a guy once for leaving a Confederate flag on a Union guy's memorial. I mean, some people have NO CLUE what they are doing, but like you said, we just have to grin and bear it!! I have left Birthday tokens on people's Angel Day's so sometimes I just get in too much of a hurry and I make silly mistakes...but they are honest mistakes!!! :)Added by LaDene on Apr 13, 2010 2:48 PM | | | LaDene

I was in a hurry when I left that and could have sworn I saw the MoH in his bio. It was a honest mistake, thanks for bringing it to my attention, but next time give a person the benefit of the doubt rather than passing judgement. By the way, the proper name for the medal is the Medal of Honor. The word "Congressional" is not in the official title of the award.
