|Bio and Links|
Ever since joining Findagrave, I've worked weekly to add and find family connections to memorials. My mother, Shirley Liles Hok, a.k.a. leyhok, and I have team-worked our genealogy for years (she began collecting oral stories as a young girl). Through her name we maintain a presence on Ancestry.com, Facebook, familysearch.org, google sites, FamilyTreeDNA, gedmatch, and so on.|
We are currently updating our ancestry onto various parts of the web. Links are slow coming as I am still heavily involved in research (my never ending search for sources!).
If you maintain a memorial for our relative and would like to transfer to me, I'd love to help.
Or, if I have a memorial you would like to maintain, please contact me.
My photos are for non-profit genealogy use. Please reference FindAGrave as the image source if you post images elsewhere.

|Molly McLaughlin||William Wallace|
I forgot to add the Malone orphan my husband descends from (Artemissa) md. 12 May 1830 to a Alexander Wallace. His father, William Wallace, died in 1837 in Newton Co., Georgia-formerly of Morgan Co., Georgia and a RS. Redding Shipp (whose wife was Argent Gardner) was executor of his will.
Part of Redding's job was to sell land of William's and divide between his children Frances, Margery, Abigail, William, Thomas and Alexander Wallace.
Do you know anything about this Redding Shipp?
|Molly McLaughlin||Sansom and Malone|
My husband is descended from a Malone and Sansom .
Sansom-Lunenburg Co., Va. to Greene Co., Ga. (by 1798) to Jasper to Walton/Newton Co., Georgia.
Malone-Lunenburg Co., Va. to Greene Co., Ga. to
Jasper Co., Ga. to Jackson/Walton/Newton Co., Ga.
from a Malone-Sansom marriage (not located).
The grandparents Sansom were Micajah Sansom, Sr. and wife, Dorothy Gibson Sansom md. Micajah in 1771/2 in Lunenburg Co., Va.
The grandparents Malone were Daniel Malone Sr. and Sarah Sullivant Malone.....via a son, Daniel Jr., md. to Elizabeth? Sansom, d/o of Micajah and Dorothy Gibson Sansom. Daniel Jr. died by 1819 in the area of Jasper or Jackson Co., Ga.-orphans of his (my husband a descendant of one) children apparently raised by grandparents...grandfather deeded 1/3 of his household to female ancestor-I am assuming the other two (a son, and a daughter) may have received their share already or were to receive it. Their land was divided by thirds, one share to each of the orphans of Daniel Malone.

I'm sorry, but you have more information than I do on him.
I barely remember him as an invalid on his death bed. I'm not even sure when he died, but he is buried in Hollywood Cemetery, Fulton Co., GA. He is in the mausoleum. I do remember going to his funeral when I was a child.
|Janet Tranum||RE: Malone Family|
My computer with all of my Malone information crashed last year and I haven't been able to recover anything. I have a notebook of handwritten notes that might provide you with some answers. Let me know which ancestors you need information on.
|Lloyd Brannon||Easter Thank You 04 03 2015|
In the event that I have not thanked you, personally, for the transfers that you have provided me with, I wish to do so at this time.
My retirement from all my social and family duties have dwindled down since my health has had the opportunity to allow me to beat my God given expiration date, with the help of family, fantastic physicians and hospital, and the implantation of a pacemaker. Rest is my priority when not doing some physical duties, yet Find A Grave and family ancestry tracing is still fun. To all my Find a Grave friends, you have all been a tremendous help with your contributions to me and especially to this site.
Happy Easter, be safe, have fun and Thank You.

I don't see why not. Would you like me to transfer the memorial to you? I'll be glad to.

Thank you, working on the very same thing. Hope we can trade info.
|Rita McKale||RE: (Thomas) Hanuel Edwards|
Well, me too. I have found him on GenForum as Hanuel Thomas, but I (at the moment) cannot find him anywhere as "Thomas" Hanuel. I will keep looking. I'll let you know if I find anything.

Tell me more. He is a direct ancestor so I am very interested. I do not have a subscription to Ancestry.com
