Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a 75 year old white female, living in Leonardtown, Md., retired from Federal Government.
Have a son buried at Ramah Cemetery in Gordon, Ga., Wilkinson County. I have a grandfather buried in
Montezuma, Macon County, Ga, USA. I have been looking for my grandfather to find out where he was buried, my grandmother has long since passed. I found a Memorial #77376031. Can you confirm that he
is buried there. His name is James Monroe Gilmore,
born 2/17/1855 and died around 1916 and I knew he was young around 53. My dad was born 5/13/1912 and always said that he was 7 years old when his dad died. So I figured that 1910 was an approximqately
date for the death. My dad was George Washington Ray Gilmore and he died 2/23/1966 in Baldwin County because I was at my sisters home where he was when he died.

Hi Dorothy,

I would say these are definitely two different Mattie's. I checked the USGenWeb cemeteries and both are listed in their respective cemeteries. If Mattie's granddaughter can't verify which one she is in you will need to find out who she was actually married to.

Wish I could be of more help.

Jacky Lamar Johns, 28470045
Thank you for your help in identifying Jacky's parents and grandparents. I appreciate it so much. Was William E. Johns #28470022 in White Springs Cemetery a brother to Jacky? Thanks again.

I noticed you left flowers for Jacky and William Johns. I might be very distantly related to them. Do you know who their parents were? Thanks for your help.

Jack Johnson
Washington County
Look up Friends of Cemeteries. It has Baldwin, Jones, Wilkinson, Hancock and Washington County.
They were indexed and all cemeteries are listed and who's buried there.
