hello, i noticed you had an extensive amount of research on the thacker family from pickens, sc, i was curious if this wasyour family? iam trying to locate info on a james thacker and sarah driver who lived in sc pickens and moved eventually to clarksville, ga. a few of your thackers are buried near where i suspect the ones i am looking for are located, i am actually quite curious if the ones who moved to coffee, tn are any relation, the ones i am tracing moved to robertson tn and his father and damily moved to georgia would you care to exchange any information you might have, ill be happy to link you a tree i have been building on line for the purposes of exchanging info. thanks so much

I saw y'all had posted this photo and wanted to double check that he's buried at Big Springs UMC.

His obit says he'll be buried at Cassville cemetery.

William Phillip "Bill" Day, 76, of Old Cass-White Road, Cartersville, died Saturday, Aug. 4, 2007.
Mr. Day was born June 18, 1931, in Cherokee County, the son of the late Phillip Jackson Day and Mattie Rampley Day. He was a U.S. Army veteran, was retired from Union Carbide, was a Scout Master in the Boy Scouts of America Troop #48 and was a member of Cassville United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Julia Anne Evans Day; an infant grandson, Jonathan Paul Day; and a sister-in-law, Sarah Evans...
...Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Aug. 7 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with the Rev. Barbara Davidson and the Rev. Stephen Horne officiating.
Burial will follow in Cassville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 5 to 9 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Cassville United Methodist Church Building Fund.
Owen Funeral Home, 12 Collins Drive, Cartersville, is in charge of the arrangements.
