I don't know why, but I have always been interested in graveyards and the many different types of headstones. It seems everytime time I pass a cemetery in my car, I slow down and take a peek.|
I am mainly interested in the names Agee, Best, Bondurant, Copeland, Elliott, Fernandez, Fonda, Kaufman, Laur, O'Hara, Parker, Pippin, Snell, Van Gelder, and Williams. All decendents [at least by name]. But I will also post memorials on friends and distance relatives.
When I post a memorial, I try and give you references where I found the information. However, if I find the information such as cemetery listings while doing research on the names I mentioned above, I will post those also [without the reference], even though they may or not be related.
If you find errors in my posting, please feel free to provide the corrections, but please provide me a reference and Email me that reference. Of course photos are always welcomed and if you would care to sponsor a site, please do so.
Also, I do not care to accumulate memorials just to have a lot of numbers on my profile. If you are a direct family member, I will be happy to transfer any memorial. Please provide me your relationship.
Also if you are interested in obtaining photos at the Manila American Cemetery and Memorial, Manila, Philippines, here is how you obtain those. I was there recently and I talked to them about photo requests. I talked to the receptionist named April dela Virgen and she said they are happy to do that for you and the will send you a .jpg file of the grave or memorial. You can email her at email@example.com or others at firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com.

Good day, Jack:
That is my mother's memorial. You mentioned that you're interested in memorials related to the last name Williams, among others. This might fit right in. Thank you very much and G-d bless. - Ron Williams

Just wanted to thank you for the information concerning LCDR Magda's memorial. I did have a question though. You sent me a correction saying he was born in Camp Taylor, Kentucky, so I changed the memorial to reflect that. Now I see you sent a correction to change it back to Louisville, Kentucky. Just kind of curious about that.

Thanks so much for posting this and the accompanying bio. Mary is my fourth great grandmother, and while I knew my direct ancestry, I was not aware she had remarried. I live near Sparta, so I will now be able to visit her gravesite, whereas previously I wouldn't have known to look for her as Anderson. Thank you so much for adding a piece to my ancestry puzzle. <3
|Robert HAUERSPERGER||Elijah L HATCHER (1829-1916)|
Just a small correction about his date of death.
As writes on the gravestone, it was May 25, 1916.
Certainly a small typing error.
Best wishes from France.
