My ancestors settled in northeastern Indiana in the 1830s and I am still here. I especially like old obituaries and newspaper clippings, and of course, cemeteries. |
I generally follow the transfer guidelines as outlined by Findagrave. I try to get updates done quickly.
Exceptions: I often take photos when we go on vacation, so if I have a memorial that is not in NE Indiana, I am normally more than happy to transfer it as I have no plans to do research in those areas.
Thanks to all who have sent additional information for the memorials. Time does not allow me to thank each of your personally, but please know that the additional information is greatly appreciated.

Hi Sheryl, I'm hooked on genealogy as well. Been doing it for 40 years. The Find A Grave listing for Louise Doyle is incorrect. Her maiden name is Violand. See marriage license and birth records of the children on Family Search.org. Thanks!

I just received a photo of my Great, Great Grandfather, David Budd's gravestone in the Stone's River Nat'l Cemetery from Mitch. I am new to findagrave and provided him with some additional info for the memorial and he referred me to you as the creator of the memorial.
David Budd (finagrave #107751870) was born in 1838, The son of Eli and Delilah (Adams) Budd. He married Demarius Page 11/17/1859. They had a daughter, Harriet Amanda in 1860 - date of death unknown. In 1861, they had twin sons, David Deumont (1861-1934)and my Great Grandfather, Daniel Fremont Budd (1861-1904). He enlisted in the 51st Ind. Vol. Inf at North Salem, IN on December 13, 1861 and as the memorial states, was killed at Stone's River on January 2, 1863. I'll appreciate your updating of the memorial with this further information about my GGGrandfather. Thank you,
Steve Shaw, Lebanon IN

For some reason I missed the fact that you had transferred Dean Tracy to me (probably in June).
Please accept my belated thanks!

Sorry for the last reply. I haven't checked my messages for a long while. Yes, I would like you to transfer Jeremiah & Belle Pierce to me. They are my great-great grandparents. Thank you for creating the memorials for them in findagrave.com.
|Kathy & Jerry Strickland||RE: Phillip Keintz|
I will make a note on the memorial regarding the difference of dates
|Kathy & Jerry Strickland||Phillip Keintz|
I was just curious where you got a birth year of 1806 for Philip.. According to the 1860 and 1870 census he was born about 1818 or 1819
I would like to transfer the following grave sites if you are willing
|dale gallis||Johannes Kunberger|
