I began serious genealogical research on my family in 1991 before moving to Nevada. My mother and I combined our photos and efforts to record our family history during frequent visits to Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas. My mother, Eunice House Peters, died July 2008 at the age of 87 and my Dad, Lester J. Peters, died June 2009 at the age of 93.They were married 73 years.|
In 2002, I co-authored a work book with my friend, Barbara L. Hodges, CGRS. The work book is titled: "Some Churchill County Nevada Records, 1850-1900, A Researchers Guide". Second printing in 2003. Our plan is to continue with a series of work books on the original counties prior to 1900. While helping others to research their family history, I am also working on a book about the early settlers of the "Gold Rush Community" of Big Oak Flat & Groveland,California, where I grew up & lived from 1946-1994. In 2010, I published a reproduction of "Complete Indexed Map of California and Nevada, 1910" which was found in Big Oak Flat.
Teaming up with FAG has given me the opportunity to give back to the many people who have helped me in my research over the years.
Many of the memorials that I have entered on FAG are not my relatives and I will be happy to transfer them to direct decendents who qualify by FAG rules.

I have not found much. I have linked two of his sons in Findagrave.

Thank you. I know Cleda and I have changed the date and the location per my records. I suspect it wss a typo on the date.

|Marsha ||Antioch Cemetery|
After searching for my Wootton burials and being very confused, I realized that Findagrave had two Antioch Cemetery listings for Howard Co, Arkansas. At first I thought it must have been a duplicate listing in error BUT, I have just found out that they really are two different cemeteries.
The photo you were kind enough to post for the Antioch Baptist Church cemetery somehow has gotten posted to both cemetery sites.
Can you please remove the 'church building' photo from the Antioch Cemetery (the one with 93 memorials) in Howard Co, Arkansas???

|J.J. and Lisa Hendrix||George Cemetery|
You have done a great job with the George Cemetery. My wife and I stop at cemeteries to let our kids get out of the car on long trips. We just ended up at George and I snapped a bunch of pictures.
Since you have done so much with the cemetery, if you'd like for me to transfer any of the memorials I've made, I'd be glad to.

I added the information as you requested on Gladys Gardner and linked her to her husband Floyd. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. Good hunting from one cemetery walker to another!
Helen (Davis) Becker was my beloved grandmother. A distant cousin plans to visit Groveland in a week and to visit Divide Cemetery. Would you be interested in meeting to chat about your book and our research about "boys" that migrated from VT to CA? Helen's father was Rancil Fay Davis, a "romantic gold miner" who came to Groveland/ Big Oak Flat ca 1851 and lived out his life there. Family friends of his were Deferrari family and Donovan. Please contact me at Michele.firstname.lastname@example.org
