My name is Karen West Sanchez. |
I ask for your patience in making updates and corrections to memorials I have added. I am undergoing chemo treatments and do not get on the computer as often as I once did. Thank you.
Genealogy and cemetery surveying have been a passion of mine for many years. My interest in genealogy was inherited from my dear Aunt Lucy West who passed away 2/22/05 at the age of 100 years, 6 months and 3 weeks. I do this in honor of her memory.

If I have prepared a memorial for your family member and you would like it transferred to you, please use the Suggest a Correction link located by clicking the Edit tab in the upper right hand corner of each memorial. In your message, please state your relationship to the deceased. I will usually transfer distant family members, friends and totally unrelated people if you have something to contribute which I have not done already. I will not transfer to organizations. Also, if you find any errors I have made, please use the Suggest a Correction link. I appreciate people helping me fix my errors. Also please send any additional information you have (including family links) and I will add it to the memorial. If you don't hear back from me within 2 weeks, please feel free to ask again.

Would you please add my Dad to my little brothers memorial. We lost him May 15, 2015 and than we lost our Grandma Seay at the age of 100 on June 27th 2015 . It's been a rough few months. I hope you are doing well on your chemo.
Hi Karen- Thank you so much for the edit/updates and for finding a solution for the hard-to-read numbers.
Great work! Peggy

Thanks for adding the headstone pic to Billie Jean Hamilton's page!

I just saw your page and realized that your Uncle Clem West lived with my grandparents for awhile in Briartown. Their names were Allen Fletcher and Elizabeth Jimison. When I saw Clems picture I recognized him immediately. Last time I saw him was at Grandma Elizabeths funeral in 1947. Small world, eh?

Hi, praying for you in your trials.
I have a Sarah Anne (Edmon) Kelly, b. 19 Dec 1887; d. 20 Mar 1965. Wondered if there is any possibility your Annie Kelly's dob 1897 could have been misread. My Sarah Anne was always called Annie. Thanks, Chris #46852418

Hello Cookie (Karen);
I have been in correspondence with Angie Hetherington, who took the grave marker photo for
your memorial #34297057 for Viola Arnett.
Angie mentioned that you had original paperwork for this cemetery. From the photo, it looks like her birth date is shown as June 21, and you have listed her birth year as 1893. I cannot read anymore of the marker, because it is buried in the ground, but you have a death year of 1895 on her memorial. By any chance does your original paperwork mention a day or month of death also for Viola? I think the inscription on the marker says "daughter of A. W. and M. Arnett", and this would fit her parents, Albert W. and Maggie (Smith) Arnett.
Does your paperwork mention any other Arnetts, McClures or Smiths that might have been buried there besides Viola and Rosa Arnett? Any names or dates would be helpful in trying to confirm some family relationships and also break through some 'brick walls' in our genealogical research!
I have also submitted links for Viola's parents through the 'edit' feature. Rosa E. Arnett is also a relative, and the 'wife of W.S." refers to her husband, Will (William) Samuel Arnett. The W. A. Arnett you mention on her memorial is her son. I can give you dates from family research on both if you need the information.
Thanks again for all your time and effort, and for creating these family memorials! Wishing you healing and health as well.
Thank you again,
Lezlie Clemons (acybersleuth)
