|Ann Stockton Meyer||Possible Kinship|
My name is Elizabeth Ann Stockton Meyer, daughter of Adrian Ernest Stockton, who was a first cousin of Shirley Stevens Hovar. Adrian's mother, Eliza Jessieman Stevens Stockton and Shirley's father, John Eston Stevens were brother and sister.
I noticed that you are also interested in genealogy and I would like to find out if I have any information that might be helpful to you in research of your family, specifically the Stevens branch. I have several photos taken before the 1920's that might be helpful.

May I copy and credit your photograph of the Hillcrest Memory Cemetery sign? I would like to copy/credit your photograph in my family tree on ancestry.com.
|Shirley Bybee||Samuel Needham|
I wonder if you might recall how you got the information for this listing for Samuel Needham. Another member who tried and failed to fulfill a photo request for this listing pointed out that it is almost identical to another listing in Sanborn Cemetery, St. Joseph County, MI. The other listing is located here:
Any ideas? Thanks!
I believe I got the info from rootsweb.com. I will go ahead and delete mine.
|Janice Bonilla||Mary Hickman Magister|
Yes I did check both names inasmuch as the cemetery office informed me her burial was actually listed in their records as Hickman, not Magister (though they were aware of the Magister name). I also checked for her husband; cemetery records show he (Hickman)is buried there, but could not find a stone for him either.

Sorry, searched section 3 lot 26 area, could not find a headstone for Mary.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I apologize for not checking my messages in quite a while. If the offer is still valid, I'll call the cemetery office! Thanks. Mark

Just wanted to let you know that I took an updated photo this morning and posted it, now that his death was added to his marker.
|Anne||RE: Lucy Needham Photo|
I've transfered both Lucy and Samuel Needham to you. I made it to the library today and was able to check the census information for 1840, 1845, and 1850. I have added this information to Samuels memorial. Based on the ages of both Clark & Samuel, my guess would be that they might be brothers???
There is also a Thomas & Ursula Dickinson living with Samuel in one census. In 1850 Thomas is 85 and Ursula is 52.
Good luck with your search. If I find anything more on this family I will pass it on to you. As I am curious, would you let me know when you finally connect Samuel with Clark & little Lucy?

I've done a little research on Samuel Needham, just out of curiosity on my part.
He was a native of Vermont, came to Michigan in 1836, was a Vice President of the county pioneer society and was the township director of highways.
I couldn't find mention of his parents or other family members but I will be at our library on Monday and I'll see if I can locate any more information on him. I will transfer Saumel and Lucy to you, but Nancy is not one of my memorials.
Hope this helps in your search.
