Hello, you have a picture of the Sharon Cemetery posted on his memorial. May I ask if you went to the cemetery and do you know if there is a marker on his grave? Thanks

Stolen photo
I wanted to let you know one of your photos has been stolen and placed on another site.

See here: http://www.sysoon.com/images?pn=2&seid=E6L4GH336R5PM8P&q=locust+hill

Apparently, this man has done this before and is doing it again.

Mary Elizabeth Williams Buckingham
Not sure that you have rec'd my requests for linking Mary to her family that I sent several months ago, so I thought I would list them here just in case.
Mary Elizabeth #15028067 can be linked to her parents-Bellfield #8345371 and Susan Matilda #83453750. She can also be linked to her husband John Buckingham #15028046 and their adopted son Fred #15028077.
Thanks so much for your help with this and look forward to getting my family linked together! Karen

Pvt Thomas J. Mosby
Pvt Thomas J. Mosby was a soldier in the 39th Infantry Regiment 9th Infantry Division. He was killed in Sicily in August 1943 during the so-called operation Husky.

He was buried in the temporary American cemetery GELA on Sicily in grave F-64-759, date of burial was 7 August 1943.

After the war his remains were repatriated and buried in a cemetery in the United States.

DO YOU KNOW THE DATE OF HIS DEATH ?

I am writing a book about this GELA cemetery, where over 1,200 men and women were buried, who were killed in Sicily in July-August 1943.

Can I have your permission to use the picture you took of his grave, of course you will be credited and notified when the book is finished

thank you
