RE: Kinseys in Hampton Cemetery
you took the photo so I was hoping you'd recall where he was in the cemetery and that Merle could figure out who had bought the plot.

Kinseys in Hampton Cemetery
talked to Merle Mahan tonight, he tells me that the bodies of Thomas Kinsey, his wife Catherine nee Schneider Kinsey and their son Bert Arnold Kinsey were moved from a cemetery in Etna at least 15 years ago and that the man who was responsible for the move added the markers which are stainless steel on rock for them. He has found no info re the baby Samuel Kinsey 1898-1988. So I am still hoping you can shed some light on that situation- especially where he might be buried.

Kinsey burials in Hampton Cemetery
I've been researching my Pittsburgh Kinsey family this past month and really appreciated the memorials and photos for my Kinsey relatives. Thomas Kinsey 1868-1933 is my "first cousin three times removed" per ancestry relationships! Rather distant but still family.
I am trying to figure out who were the parents of Samuel S. Kinsey 1898-1899 in Hampton Cemetery. There is no Pittsburgh death record for him so I know he didn't die in the city of Pittsburgh proper. I have contacted Merle Mahan who is going to try to locate records re Samuel for me. He asked if I knew the plot for Samuel and I told him I didn't, wondered if you knew. Is Samuel buried in the same place as Thomas, his wife Catherine and their son Bert? Don't think Thomas and Catherine were the parents of Samuel, as Thomas and Catherine had a daughter Mabel born April 4, 1898 and likely couldn't have had Samuel November 24, 1898.
Merle hopes to find out who actually purchased the plot Samuel is buried in. Any light you can shed on this would be very appreciated.

Linda,

I saw the picture that has been posted of Quincy Larue. I don't think this is him; but rather his son Quincy Larue Hiser Jr B 3 Oct 1903 Toledo, Lucas Co, Oh d 15 Apr 1980 Tiffin, Seneca Co, OH.

The reason I say this is that the suit, tie and shirt appears to be from the early 30's. Quincy appears to be in his early 30's in the picture. This would be in keeping with the fashions of the day.

The memorial otherwise appears to be correct for Quincy Larue Hiser Sr.

Linda

I added the obit for Leonard to the Bio side of his memorial so that it can be googled for its contents. I also gave you credit below it for adding it. May I ask you to remove it from the picture side?

Thanks again for the great work and the transfer.

Phil
