I've been getting into Genealogy the last few years, with an uncle, and found that Findagrave has been a helpful site, for assistance with family members. Sometimes it is a puzzle or a game when or while searching for family members, it can be quite fun putting the pieces together, and sometime assistance may be helpful. Someone may assisted me in the past, and maybe I'd be able to help out also.

Forest H Lashley
Thank you very much for the cemetery marker of Forest H Lashley. Special thanks for the plot photo which includes his mother's marker. I have her obit but it does not mention where she was buried. Now I can also add her to Find A Grave. I will also request another photo of her marker. Thank you!

Hi Cousin?
Are you a descendant of James Sylvester Castner of North Pine Grove, Clarion, PA?

If so, we are related and would love to share family information

I looked for his stone but it doesn't look like there is one - I looked in the family plot and checked the cemetery inscription book.

I checked James P. Stewart's stone and Virginia's name isn't on it or near by

The notice I the newspaper stated A.J. was called to Iola where his mother died at the home of her son Frank - no other information. Her death record shows the undertaker was Dillman.

She is not listed in the cemetery inscription that was made in 1965-75. The newspaper of Thursday 10-13-1927 did say she was buried in Oskaloosa cemetery. I will check in the area of her husband's stone next time I'm at that cemetery.

Hi Curt!
I cannot add Sarah Fite as a daughter; whomever created her memorial would need to add David & Susannah as her parents. I've been in contact with your uncle and exchanged some information with him. Please e-mail me directly at

You're very welcome Curt. Their placement was at the very top, so I apologize for the poor angle. Even standing on a bench didn't give me the height needed to take a clearer shot.
Please don't hesitate to contact me should you need more photos here in Broward County.

Best Regards,
