Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was bit by the ancestry bug just a couple of years ago and I've been hooked since.

Because my parents already had a lot of information on their genealogy, I've been working on my husband's.

I have hit a brick wall on the Watt side with David Watt Sr. (1776-1860) from Belfast, Antrim, Ireland.

If anyone has information on him or his parents I would be greatly interested.

Also, I'm looking for information on my Great-Great Grandfather Rasmus Ibsen (on my father's side). The only information I have is his name and that he is from Denmark. It's a long shot but if anyone recognizes the name please let me know. His son (my Great Grandfather) Niels Peter Rasmussen was an illegitimate child of Rasmus and his mother Karen Marie Knudsen (Nielsdatter). He was an immigrant from Denmark that moved to the US and settled in Utah as a mormon pioneer.
I have been using ancestry.com and myheritage.com so far. Look me up. :)
Thanks,
Marci Watt

I made the changes you requested. Please check it and make sure it is correct.

Also, I have used ancestry.com a lot and also familysearch.org (a free sight). I learned a lot and confirmed some other stuff. I also paid for genealogybank.com That sight led me to obituaries, newspaper articles, marriages, etc and was well worth the year's subscription I paid for. Good hunting

RE: Beamon Lewis and Silvia Annie Hill Oviatt
Thanks for all the pictures that you sent me and the page. I think I'm still a little confused but you do look a lot like Nina Beryl Oviatt... WOW

Do you have a larger picture of the one that you posted on the site? It would be awesome to have a copy of it if you don't mind. You can send it to me through my email.
Thanks tons.

David Watt
I just fulfilled your photo request and wanted to tell you that the stone was broken and stacked together so I laid it out for the photo so you could get the date of death and his age. His wife and son are buried beside him between his headstone and the others you see in the middle picture. Cemetery records say that Julia A. is buried next to David and that she died and was buried the same day: August 13, 1893. James B. was buried next to Julia and died on January 24, 1894 and was buried on January 31, 1894. There are other Watt family members in Maple Grove. If you go to the City of Findlay website there is a link to the cemetery where you can look up and locate burials. Hope this helps!

If you are related to the Watt family, Which I assume you are I will transfer. I am related through the Kerr side only. Most of the Watts are not close. I see you have added some great family photos. Let me know who you would like transferred to your care. Deb(oldergraver)
