I've been researching my family for a while. My dad is from the South, my mom from the North. It's been an interesting journey.|
Researching the Drake/Eastman/Smith/Cook line on my mom's side, and the Earp/Trent/Buttry line on my dad's side.
If I have put up a profile of your relative don't hesitate to ask me to transfer it, it's yours really. I only ask that you don't remove any military information from the profile. I was on a quest to find the veterans buried in Weymouth for the historical society in the past, and had posted whatever I was finding. I believe the people at FAG put connection links on profiles for a reason, so when I hear that somebody is refusing to connect a child because they are "old way" of doing things, or are too lazy to do the research that requires a connection, I will create a link. There is responsibility when creating a profile rather than just the glory of finding them, they are family members. And don't be afraid to use any PHOTOS I have posted here on Find-A-Grave! I would never join a sharing community and then not share.

|Joel Church||RE: Bogart's at Dickinson|
You are very welcome!
Just wanted to say thanks for the information on John and Sally Earle over in the Hildreth Cemetery in Lowell. The cemetery was once in the town of Dracut so the records are over there. The old Vital records only go up to 1849 so if the people died after 1849 they just entered birthdates or years and the cemetery. I've been trying to fill in the blanks for a while now so I'm always very appreciative whenever I get some more clues as to who they were. I was able to fill in more on both of them so thank you again. Denise.

I saw your memorial for Nathaniel Jewett, Sr. Sarah Hayden is related to my wife; she died in 1852, wife of Nathaniel Jewett, Jr. I believe in Hull, MA. There is no photo on the memorial - is there no gravestone standing? I have been trying to find Nathaniel Jewett, Jr's father for some time, so I am anxious to know if this Nathaniel is it. Since you mention Sarah Hayden, I thought you might have some information about the connection.

|PupDawg||RE: Norris at Mount Auburn|
Thanks, I check the requests every day since there are other volunteers that are working Mt. Auburn as well and it can be difficult to find the plots so I would hate to have someone duplicate the effort. Even when I go specifically to fulfill requests I walk out with over 500 photos so I try to first do the photo requests then add to the memorials already created. Most times the person that requests the original photo adds the other memorials that are not already there so I go back through and update.

Noticed that you created a duplicate record for Elijah Clark (1781-1845) in the Boston Central Burying Ground. I believe he was originally buried there with his children and first wife, but later moved to Mount Auburn with (by?) his second wife and other children.
Elijah P. Clark is an entirely different person - Elijah Pope Clark, a son of Humphry Clark who died in 1859.

I put Mrs. Poole in the correct cemetery.
Thank you ever so much,
|W. H. B.||RE: Cenotaphs|
Hi Jacki, thanks for the information!
In any event, I am contacting you about this now! I don't think I actually created any of the other records to which you refer as "dups", btw. Someone else must have found this as confusing as I did, and created them unknowingly.
I was trying to adding some photos and info, and came upon the multiple grave sites. I would expect them to at least reference each other, but do what you please, it makes no difference to me.

|Richard Bragg||Bragg Cemetery|
Thank you so much for all the Bragg transfers!
|Patty||RE: Lydia Stone Marion 19348548|
Most of the headstones are spelled Marion but the index spells Merion. Should the names be updated to match the markers?
