That's what I thought you meant, November 15th. I didn't think you were my age [old as the hills], just young at heart & holding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Glad everything went well at the Doctor's.
Later, my friend.
Well that certainly is a coincidence and a pleasant surprise. I haven't forgotten my Birthday yet, since it was only a month ago today. I just don't celebrate it so much anymore, they seem to come too often. I passed mine last year, with nervousness. Missouri used to issue a Driver's License for 6 years, but for several years now, you have to re-apply every TWO years. Guess they needed the money. LOL - Last year was the only year I ever questioned NOT PASSING. I told the lady that there were NO 'SIGNS' ON STREETS OR HIGHWAYS that were in SMALL PRINT as that FIFTH line on the Eye Chart that Missouri makes you pass. She did not appreciate my Ironic sense of humor.[Can you read the 5th line on an eye chart]??? I'm hoping I can, after these operations. If not, all for nothing?
Goodnight and sweet dreams. I'm gonna watch Entertainment Tonight & then get some shut-eye.

I'm glad you are seeing an eye Doctor on a regular basis, which I didn't, and that you are OK at the present time. I have a friend with glaucoma and her vision is getting worse & she hasn't been able to drive for almost a year now. My doctor told me the same thing about "waiting" & that it was my decision, but he also told me I probably would not pass my driving test next November if I didn't have the surgery. That was the turning point for me. You will know when you come to your turning point. At Least, you will be ready & prepared for the surgery.
I always stayed on the computer too long, even when my eyes were so strained &
tired. I would say 'just one more' & before I knew it, a couple of hours has passed. Time gets away from a person when on the PC, it seems.
Hope your eye pressure is good & holding! Wishing you a Merry Christmas & a great 2014 New Year, filled with an abundance of Love, Laughter & pleasant memories.

|rosie mcnaughton||Hi Elsie,|
I saw your message on Ruth's page. You may have seen some of my messages to her when she was so nervous about having eye surgery. Are you contemplating cataract surgery? I highly recommend it. It's pretty simple and straight-forward. Mine was great. I can see to read the road signs BEFORE I get to them now WITHOUT glasses, can read better (with cheap glasses) and do counted cross stitch and other close work. I don't have to wear glasses for distance at all. I had my eyes done one week apart. Good luck with your decision. When it's gets bad enough, you will find it easier to decide. I really don't know anyone who's had it done that isn't happy with it. What I had done were implants. The surgeon told me it takes 6 minutes per eye. Quite amazing.

Hi Elsie, I was hoping that my experience would help you decide about what you wanted to do, regarding your eyes. In three weeks I'll have another checkup and possibly start proceedings on my right eye. I'm not scared now, but still think about it a lot. I don't think you will be disappointed if you have the surgery & it really is painless, just lots of paper work and lots of doctor visits.
Well gotta go now, and keep me informed about your decision. I'll walk you thru!!!!!
Ugh it's so slow yes I know and nothing is loading.
Hey thank you for leaving a token for my sweet BaileeCat. I sure appreciate all of the visits you make to my loved ones, especially when the site is running so slow. Thank you my friend, I still need to write you back ~ Sorry I haven't yet but I will sweetie.
Happy Holidays to you and your loved ones and have an awesome night,
