Researching Chet's family including McCaig, Hughes, Hooper, Carter & Wade and
my lines including Whitaker, Harrell, Douglas & St. Peters.
To honor the service of our veterans, we try to add memorials for all those interred in Memphis National Cemetery, West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, and Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West near where we now live in Clarksville, TN.
We're also adding memorials for those associated with American Snuff Company (formerly Conwood Company), the former Kimberly-Clark Memphis Mill and Velsicol Chemical in Memphis.
To document the date and reason for transfers, and hopefully prevent deletion of memorials and the family squabbles we've previously experienced, to request transfer of a memorial, please leave a message here including the memorial name & number, and your relationship, name & member ID. (Remember the Find A Grave guidelines: Requests should be for direct relatives, within four generations, your siblings, parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents.)
We are happy to make corrections or add details via the "Suggest A Correction" button on the memorial.
We have no intent of commercial or financial gain from posting information on this site. We do this solely as a service to others searching for family burial locations for personal or genealogy purposes. We would greatly appreciate your cooperation in not copying our photos to other websites or for other purposes.
Thank you! Chet & Carole

|Jeff Weigler||Vahle Reunion|
We are having a Vahle Family reunion in October in Wood River, we will be displaying the Family Tree and Find a Grave info.
It will cover the Kohlmiller's, St Peter's, Vahle's, and Doerr's, and many more due to the fact that our family was a pioneering one and is related to just about everyone. If you need additional information, let me know I can email you the invitation.
Hope to see you there!!
|Jeff Weigler||Magdalena and Margaret St Peters|
Both sisters Magdalena "Lena" (51215856) and Margaret "Maggie" (51215868) Kohlmiller were married to Antone St Peters (51215806).
Lena was the first wife, she lived from 1855-1878, her children were Edward and Charles.
After she died, Antone married her sister Maggie 1858-1922, her children were Phillip, Antone Jr, John, Jacob, and Oliver.
Is the pic of Antone and Maggie? There were probably no photos of Lena as she died so young.
Both were sisters of my Gr Gr Grma Catherine Kohlmiller (Vahle). They are in the Slusher Family Tree on Ancestry.com.
I will be updating some information on your pages.

|MRSHONIERAYEVAUGHAN!!!||Johnny Clyde Copeland|
I was in process of creating a memorial for my beloved granddaddy Johnny Clyde Copeland,
http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=82814663,an awesome blues artist who passed in 1997. When I saw that there was one already a Memorial created for him. I was wondering if it is possible to have the memorial transferred to me to manage, and if not, I understand,I would visit daily. Thank you very much.
