Hello I'm John T. Griffith, born in Oceanside California, a Viet Nam War US Army MP Veteran and a former CHP Officer. In September 2002, I assisted the National Archives Administration Center, Missouri, in replacing lost and destroyed US Army files. It was during that research project I discovered Find A Grave, wanted to be a part of it's concept and became a member. I have always had a passion for history and the people who have lived it. People in everyday life who through the needs and demands of their times shaped the world. I believe each day is a gift and the best part of any day is that day. I'm also a professional musician, still performing and haved shared the stage with many named artists. In addition, I'm a vintage guitar expert who has contributed, plus co-wrote for many vintage guitar books and articles in magazines about the subject. Plus I'm a photographer, writer and historian, for the San Diego Reader. I, my wife Mary and our Dachshund "Timmy", reside in Vista, California. Thanks and best regards, John | |

 | Actor Favs Just went through your Virtual Cemetery of Actor Favs. Saw so many old actors that I had not thought about in years. Really enjoyed seeing the photos and reading about them. Thanks for putting it together.

 | RE: George H. Rand bio - - - Thanks for linking his parents! No relation of mine, so no need for a transfer. I went to this cemetery looking for photo requests today and realized many memorials weren't listed, so I just clicked away with my camera! I have many to add, but thought it was important to include the families! :) | | | Donna L Yates
 | Stanley Omer Tetherow John,
Thank you so much for photographing my Dad's grave site! For some reason I never got a photo of it. I am very grateful to you for your kindness.
Many Thanks,

 | RE: Thank you - - - John,
Thank you. Rich was a very good friend of mine. I would see him when I was out at Pearl for the memorial services. We would sit and talk for hours. He was living history to me. He's a great loss to what is out there. Thanks very much.
Respectfully,

 | RE: Wallace Elbert Johnson bio Thanks, John. Wallace is only distantly related. His father would be my great grand uncle so a transfer isn't necessary, although I appreciate you asking. I'm just trying link all my Johnson ancestors together. | | | Cheryl and Linda
 | A note of thanks! I have just read several of your bios on WWI and II heroes. We enjoyed them very much. My husband was in Viet Nam from 1972-73. He enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1970. Your work is well done in all aspects of research! Thanks for doing such a good job! Cheryl | | | | [View all messages...] |
