Thompson Cemetery
I visited the Thompson cemetery in search of Alfred Reeves and Sarah Thompson. In my research, it said they were buried there. Alfred Reeves is supposed to have a military tombstone from service in the war of 1812. I did not find either of them there, but made pictures of Hardy Thompson, Melissa, and a son. Do you know if Hardy is the father of Sarah Thompson Reeves? There were several unmarked graves.

RE: Middleton
Ms. Sandra, The Middleton Cemetery is in Panola County Mississippi. How much land the Capt. had I do not know. What little information I have I got from the Panola Historical Society. I was just doing research in preperation of filling your photo request for Zacharias on Find-A-Grave. Larry

RE: Middleton
Ms. Sandra, You mentioned you were looking for Capt. Holland Middleton along with Zacharias. All I was stating was that Mr. Holland once owned the land and later donated it to the Camp Ground Baptist Church. Records indicate he is not buried there but Zacharias is along with the other Middleton names I sent you. The cemetery is still known locally as Middleton Cemetery and has been unused for over 60 years. That is all I know. Larry

Ms. Sandra, While doing research I found no record of Holland being buried at Middleton Cemetery although he origionally purchased the land from Native Americans and later deeded it to Camp Ground Baptist Church. According to the latest survey I found Zacharias, A.M.,Serenne, and Willie Green are all here. I hope to go there this winter and will take photos when I do so if you wish you cann add them. Larry

Billie Middleton
Hi Sandra,

I added Elois Middleton to Find-A-Grave today with pics of her headstone. I also added pictures to her husband's memorial, Billie. I linked them together and thought you might want to add info to his memorial:

DOB: August 20, 1917
DOD: April 10, 1973

How sad to hear how he passed away in his store. I pray he knew Jesus as your grandmother did. I do not know the Middleton's nor your grandmother, just read what you recorded on her memorial. Like you, I long for when Jesus shall return! God's best through Jesus Christ to you and your entire family!

RE: Great Aunt Olivia
Thank you for the kind words. We live in Marlow and printed a cemetery list of 50 plus requests. We drove around and took photos of names we could see from the road. Found 8 without map or cemetery records. So glad we found yours !

RE: Mistake
It gets really confusing with the Jesse Lott's. According to what I have found there were three generations of men named Jesse Lott.

1. Jesse Lott 1805-1870 married Ellen Holden
their son was

2. Jesse Lott 1834-1923 married Caroline Dawsey
their son was

3. Jesse Lott 1872-1952. married Lena ???

#2 was Jr. and was the father of Edward Lott.

Who did Edward's daughter Edna marry? I would like to add him to my information.

Please feel free to let me know if you find any mistakes in the future. I want to get the information as accurate as possible. Thank you, Marcie
