Happily hooked on Genealogy! Please contact me if I have entered anything incorrectly. I am mainly concentrating on the descendants of Valentine Martin b. abt 1750. His sons Job, William, and Jesse moved from Kentucky to Cooper County, Missouri in early pioneer days. Their descendants lived in Oklahoma, Texas, California, and many other states, as well as Missouri. .....Thanks so much to everyone who has shared records on Find A Grave! Ann | |

 | aaron martin family I found a death certificate in Mo for Isiah M Martin from Carterville Mo It states he is the son of BF Martin (Ben Franklin). Mother is E Ferguson. His wife is Mary Martin. I know Benjamin is the son of Arron Martin . You can find it on the web site www.sos.mo.gov. Burial is at Martin Cemetery. I would think that is in Cooper Co.

 | RE: Malinda (Martin) Allen Memorial# 50435604 Hi Ann, thanks for linking everyone. I sometimes think I have finished memorials, but there is always someone there to remind me that I wasn't done. Sometimes I am lucky and find it on my own. :)Added by Ruth on Jun 17, 2012 2:51 PM | | | tbickellb
 | RE: Harlena Snorgrass & family You are welcome. Just in case you don't have the information, Harlena's father was Archibald William Mullins b. 1814, Madison County, KY. He was presumed to have died in Morgan County, MO around 1855. I still looking for his place of burial. Archibald's parents were William Mullins and Nancy Woods. Williams' father (also named William) fought and died in the Revolutionary War.

 | Arrena Martin I have uploaded a photo of her stone. Hard to see but the name is spelled with 2 "R"s. | | | Bonnie Morris Conrad
 | Odneal Very interesting and makes one realize how small the world is. Doing research in Sherman Texas I found that during the civil war many from Morgan Co, Mo and Missouri came to Sherman because it was a confederate county as was most of Texas at that time. Lots of History in Grayson, Co. My great Uncle is the first burial in Basin Springs cem. I worked to clean it up with a group in the Spring...so much fun. Hiram Lilly Murray died in 1861 after his trip to Texas. Wow, sorry I made you work so hard to find that connection to Odneal.. It was good though...see you are working on the Martins also. Take care! | | | Bonnie Morris Conrad
 | Vanpool/Short Hi again,
Have been gone visiting my daughter in Sherman, Texas. I did have that Obit somewhere but am so glad you reminded me to post it. The picture I posted was from Grandma Emma's bible. Wm. Peyton was her nephew and was at her funeral. I can't remember how you are related. He was my mother's cousin and lived down the road from where I was born. When his father and sisters moved to Nez Pearce, Id he chose to remain in Morgan County. | | | Bonnie Morris Conrad
