I have researched my family lines since 1980. I have researched our Railey, Hammons, Lindsay, Woods, Lawley (Lolley), Franklin, Leachman, Poteet, Williamson, McDavid families and the surnames that are part of our family. We did not use ancestry to do our research. We looked at microfilms before we had internet. It has always been a great joy in finding our ancestors and finding out where they came from. There are many sources for our family that did not come from another researcher that has posted about Abbeville Lindsay. Our history has been written up and stored, done by me.
