RE: Sarah Hansen @Westview I have 3 pages of Family History for Abrams. The second page says of her: Sarah Elizabeth Abrams- born Feb. 2, 1857, near Dykes Store, GA, Floyd County. She married Georg J. Hansen of Denmark, July 6, 1882. She died in Atlanta July 31, 1924. He died April 28, 1929.
I do not know where he is buried. I do not find him on findagrave.com. If you know this, I would like to know.
I can send you the entire history but I could not figure out how to send in pubic message.
My Mother, almost 95, said Aunt Sally was from Rome. I have not heard of Dykes Store, GA.
This history was taken from a family Bible by Medora Field Perkerson, my Great Aunt.
RE: McMillan at nettleton Yes, it was a bit of a challenge for Nancy's as it was in two parts; the top was laying against the bottom part. We cleaned both up and managed to balance the top on the bottom long enough to take the photos. We replaced the top back down in front on the bottom for safe keeping. Diane
RE: Johnson Family in Yalobusha County Your welcome. As far as I know I am not related to any Johnsons, but you never know what you might find as you are researching! I have been going to different cemeteries trying to get marker photos of my family members and my husbands family members and realized that there were many other find a grave memorials that did not have pictures on them. I figured that since I was already at these cemeteries I would go ahead and try to take pictures of all the markers and add them to those with out photos in hopes of helping others.
Robert Beverly Duke and parents Olive, I think that my 3rd g-grandfather, Robert Beverly Duke # 70943549, is buried next to or near his parents in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Rose Creek, McNairy County, Tennessee. His parents were Thomas D. Duke # 68920354 and Jane Elvira Duke # 68920290. Would it be possible for you to take a picture of his headstone that includes their headstones in the same photo? I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you very much. Linda Wiesner
