PHOTO REQUESTS?

It is of immense help if YOU contact the cemetery office to get the location of the grave (section, lot, mausoleum wing, etc.) Please add that information to your request.

I am MUCH more likely to pick up your request if I know where to go to find the marker.

Please make separate photo requests for each person. I will only upload photos for individual requests (not couples or families).

SPECIAL DUTCH SURNAME PROJECT: PLEASE HELP!

Find A Grave search function treats all spacing within a surname (ex. "Van den Berg") like a spelling variation and will not display together all surnames spelled the same but spaced differently (Ex. "Vandenberg", "Vanden Berg" or "Van den Berg" require three separate searches using spacing in two searches).

If you contribute Dutch surnames to Find A Grave, please follow the Historical Society form of deleting all spacing, to simplify our searches and unify our work.

I have contacted Find A Grave about this issue but they are not able to change this search problem yet. Thank you, contributors, for any help!

Thank you for the photographs of my brother Elmer's grave. I guess most people in Little Chute knew him as "Doc". It is very much appreciated.

RE: Surprise/VanBoxtel Stone
Julie, Thanks for the explanation. maybe it would be better to create a memorial for the Van Boxtels. Then put the picture on it. With a note about it being the back of the Surprise monument. I will do a little poking around and attempt to sort out the relationship..
