I have been working on my family tree for about 12 years. It is a never ending endeavor and always evolving! It is very fascinating and I have found family members I never knew existed. I live in a tiny community called Sherman, PA, which is on the border of Deposit, Delaware Co. NY. I am researching the Davis, Barnhart, Butler, Castle, Knapp, Morse, Owen, Sanford, Sprague, Sutton, Titch, VanDusen (etc)families, just to name a few. Also, Schumeyer, and for my husband: Karcher, Geer & Quick; and for my children: Parsons, Fuller & Elliott. Looking forward to hearing from anyone who are researching these families or who have any connections to them.|

Will was my grandfather's brother. My grandfather was Floyd Davis. I am doing research too on the Davis's. We should compare notes!

It is a great road for running/biking if you are into that sort of thing. You can park and the corner of 87 and Windy Valley at the ballpark and bike up to the cemetery. There is a lot of history there, next to the cemetery there was a CCC camp. The people that own the land now have been finding all kinds of artifacts. On facebook there is a "You know you are from Mehoopany if" page. We discuss a bit of local history on it. There is also a facebook page for Forkston but Mehoopany discussion covers a lot of the area.

I was up to Kasson Brook and was randomly taking pictures last week. It was the first time I found the cemetery although I am quite often in the area. I took the picture of the three headstones without knowing I would be posting them. When I saw your request I just posted what I had. Kasson Brook is a little off the road, and a little off the road that is off the road and it is all wooded. That being said I am sure you can find it. Windy Valley to a little bridge that is roughly 4.2 miles from Route 87. Just after the bridge sign Kasson Brook and "keep out". go up that until you reach chain across road. Out passenger door up into woods a little, when you see cemetery angle left to find Spragues. Are you the one that wanted Spragues in Forkston? I looked without any luck, but haven't given up yet as my uncle has records for cemetery so at minimum should be able to estimate where grave should be.
