Many of the gravestones that I have posted are either my relatives or my husbands. The rest are just gravestones I have photographed on various trips throughout the United States or gravestone information that I have come across in our local genealogical library.

Occasionally I have been helped by the postings of another person that I've never met and I hope that I, too, can help someone find an ancestor posted here.

Mary Jane Daniel Gettis # 8708527
Sylvia,
Mary and Ira are my great-great-great grandparents and I am curious where you found the death information for Mary Jane. I agree with the info on Ira however, I have found a census record from 1870 showing Mary and Ira living next to there daughter Caroline Zehrung in Iowa and another census record (US 1880) indicating they lived with their son John and his family in Twin Mound, Kansas. As I recall there is indication of no grave marker in the cemetery. I believe they very likely are buried there but was just curious where the death information for Mary was obtained. Any assistance you can offer would be appreciated! I am simply trying to gather as much information as possible dealing with my ancestors and Find-A-Grave is awesome for that! Thanks for the work you have done. It is appreciated, especially when I am not able to visit the cemeteries, etc. I grew up in Tama, Iowa and don't get back home very often. Thanks! Bob

Sharon Penny Henry
Parent of Isaac S. Folmar
HI,
According to Ancestry Isaac S. Folmar's (8304375)father is John Nicholas Folmar, 1785, Lexingon, S.Carolina, died Aug 19,1840 Lowndes, Alabama, but I don't find a memorial number for him.
Ancestry has John Nicholas Folmar's father as Find A Grave#11663804.
Perhaps these can be linked together and John Nicholas Folmar given a number.
My first cousin is a direct descendent of this line on his father's side. (His mother is my father's sister.)
Thank you,
Sharon Penny Henry #47606770

Edmund B. Cavileer
Hi Sylvia, I wish to ask if you could please connect Edmund D. Cavileer's father to Edmund's memorial. Also, Would like to add that Edmund's Middle name was Burke. In his memorial, you have a letter "D." as a middle initial. Can you please make that correction?

Edmund D. Cavileer Find A Grave Memorial# 8730663
Charles Cavileer was Father of Edmund B. Cavileer (Find a grave #8625780)

Thank you
