Bio and Links
I live in central Massachusetts and many of my postings are from there. I grew up in southeastern Massachusetts and also have postings from there.
I enjoy discovering old gravestones, especially the ones that can still be read.I hope that some of my postings are useful to people who are doing genealogy and trying to discover their roots. I started genealogy in 1988 and understand the value of finding this type of information.
When you ask me to link spouses/family members, please give me the correct memorial number and the name of the person.

I requested transfer of my grandfather's memorial to me several weeks ago. I have a number of edits pending for him and would like to complete them. Thank you in advance for honoring this request.

Dr. Leganh Hobgood Perry
Hi Karen,
Thanks for the work you do with FindAGrave.com. I am a Hobgood researcher from North Carolina and recently found a grave that you have catalogued (# 47346967) at the Saint John’s Cemetery, New Bedford. You have the name as Dr. Leganh Hobgood Perry. I feel that the name is in error and should be “Dr. Legan Hobgood” (No Perry). Dr. Hobgood was born and educated in North Carolina and Maryland. He married Olivia M. Perry in 1918. The 1930 Census shows him living with his wife and her family in New Bedford, Mass. where he practiced medicine using the name Legan Henry Hobgood. Dr. Hobgood died rather young and I expect that he was buried in the Perry family plot. It appears that his wife, Olivia, never remarried and may have used her maiden name after his death. Please review this grave and, at your convenience, change the name at FindAGrave.com. Your attention is much appreciated. Thanks again for your work. Yours truly, Len Dean, Raleigh

Francis and Olive Bannister
Thank you for adding my parents to FindAGrave.
A few slight corrections. Olive born in Charlton not Charlton City. Olives father's name is Louis Goodell. There is a blank spot on Charlton records for father. This fact based on Olive's own words and my DNA.
Francis was born in Chelsea, Ma. not Charlton. Francis's mother is Mary Ellen Witherell 1882-1908 not Eva Mary Baxter. Eva's last name is Baxter not Bergeron.

Hi Karen,
Thank you for getting back with me and sorry if I gave you wrong/incomplete information.

Roswell L Tuttle - Find A Grave Memorial# 82754954 and Anna B Simpson - Find A Grave Memorial# 82755027 are the parents of Arthur R Tuttle - Find A Grave Memorial# 82755074 and Paul E Tuttle - Find A Grave Memorial# 82755027 along with Leverne and Mabel whom you have linked. There were at least nine children in this family.

Hope this helps,

Herman Kramer
Did you by chance connect George Burton Appelby to Herman Kramer. - I didn't and I need to find the person who did or I guess I need to go to Findagrave. Thanks. Lois

Thank you.
Hi Karen,
I recently found this website searching for info to locate my dad's grave. He died just before my 6th birthday. I love that you left him a note and flowers in March. Many thanks to you.

Edward C. Hughes
Hi, I'm wondering if there is more information on this Edward Hughes, who may have married one of my ancestors, Mary Ann Murphy O'Leary in 1880 in or around Millbury or Worcester, MA.

They may have had a child by the same name, who either died as an infant or in any case, I cannot locate further.

Mary Ann moved on with her daughter and later remarried in Dedham re: 1900.

Any information about this Edward C. Hughes would be helpful. I would guess he would have been ages 27-35 at the time of his death.
