Barbara Anne,

I noticed you posted flowers for my father on the find a grave site - did you know my Dad?

You are welcome. It is always an honor to recognize a veteran any way that I can.

Alan Arrowsmith in ANC
Hi, I'm about to post for you photos of the stone for Alan Arrowsmith at Arlington National. I will send an edit to John Anderson, as the middle initial on SFC Arrowsmith's stone is "M" rather than "N". It's also interesting to note that it looks like his stone may have been altered -- I haven't seen any like that at Arlington before, where there is a carved out area where the first name and initial are. Perhaps there was a spelling error in the first cut of the stone?

Also, do you know if Arthur V and Dorothy S Arrowsmith are related to Alan Arrowsmith? They are buried directly behind him. I can post photos of their stone, too.

Thank you.

Dear Barbara,

On this, my first experience with Find a Grave, I found a childhood friend. Can you help me to locate his wife and or children?
Thank you so very much.

Carl Louvring
Hello Barbara, I saw that you have a request for Carl Louvring's grave. I tried to find where he is buried in Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, OR, but I can't find anything on him on the US Department of Veterans Affairs website as to where he is buried. I even tried to see if he could be buried in one of their other cemeteries and I had no results. Is it possible that there is a spelling error on his name? If you can find his plot location, I would be happy to get a photo for you. Thanks and have a good day.~ Jaci
