Your tombstone stands among the rest;
Neglected and alone.
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished, marbled stone.
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn.
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own.
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot,
And come to visit you.

Thank you however I do not like death certificates posted on my memorials, I have had it for many years and also find are on some errors on some of them because of information from the informant. I check Missouri Digital DC for all my family and have for years. So if you don't mind please remove it from the memorial since I can not do so.

You have her listed in the Green Bias Cemetery - she is in Bias Cemetery - Low Gap. I have transferred the duplicate memorial to you from the correct cemetery.

You have this memorial placed in Green Bias Cemetery - the grave is located at Bias Cemetery, Low Gap (which is several miles down the road). I documented and photographed both cemeteries so I am sure of his location, and will transfer my memorial for Burwell Bias to you.

Was at the Armstrong Cemetery on September 13th, 2014. I noticed that Absalomís stone was reset back by the fence. Have not had a chance to talk to the trustees, but if this is the stone that was propped against the big tree, his grave was moved to Union Grove Cemetery at Canal Winchester, Ohio, several, several years ago. You can view his current stone and site on Find-A-Grave, also. His wife was Sarah Armstrong Guthrie. She was born Nov. 15, 1817 in Preston Co. VA (WV) and died Dec. 31st, 1901 in Canal Winchester, Ohio and is also buried at Union Grove.
Three of their daughters are buried there also.
My Dad was William Armstrong Primmer and he told the story many times about the grave being moved, and the stone being left, because a new stone was bought.
My Dadís Mother was Nellie Mabel Armstrong and she was married to William Albert Primmer.
I spent many hours of my childhood and adulthood at the cemetery, with the family working, before it was turned over to the township.
Hope to hear back from you....

|Leslie Robinson Coleman||Henry Emswiler|
Great! Which child of Henry's did you find this for?
|Leslie Robinson Coleman||Henry Emswiler|
Good evening. I am looking for clear evidence that Henry Emswiler (1829-1899) was the son of Johan (John) Emswiler. Both are buried in Turley Cemetery. Do you have anything? Henry was a young adult and on his own in 1850 so he isn't with John and Fannie on the 1850 census. This is the only relationship that I can't document for my DAR application.

Rose, I see your correction on his birthdate am curious where you found it? I have his military records I ordered from the archives years ago, but there is no birthdate on them or anything I have found since then.
