You are welcome for the help on Missouri Lyle's cemetery location. And, yes, I am related through the Lyle side. My maternal great-grandmother was a Lyle.

I have not gotten the language down yet, so bear with my linage: Me (1962 - living) to Thomas Carroll Aderhold (1930- living) to Jones Harber Aderhold (1902 - 1952) to Francis Himer Aderhold (1863-1938) to John Burton Aderhold (1828 - 1906) to Lewis Aderhold (1800 - 1875)to John Conrad Aderhold(1765 - 1853) to Frederick Willhelm Aderhold (1748- 1807).

In your book, my line did not have a lot to contribute...as I research, I wonder what the story was with John Conrad. BTW, thank for for tackling that arduous task. I have been to Germany several times, if I go again, I will see it in a totally different light. I'm face book friends with a German Aderhold

I have gotten a lot of certified docs from both Franklin and Jackson counties -death certificates, marriage certificates,wills... I have everything certified.

I have found the Digital Library of Georgia really helpful, http://dlg.galileo.usg.edu/?Welcome. All the old newspapers run the administer/executor notices - that has helped me confirm connections

There is a book "Headstones Lie" that is so true because I will look at a death certificate and the year on it and on the headstone will be completely different. I hope that we can work together and help each other.

Thanks, John. I work on the various Sizemore families here and there as time permits. Have you tried to figure out the discrepancies in the birth dates for Lewi and Cheley? On the memorials their birth dates are only 5 months apart in 1905.

In 1910 Lewis is 6 and Chelsey is 4. in 1920 Lewis is 15 and Chelsey is 13. in 1930 Chelsey is 21 and I didn't find Lewis. In 1940 Lewis is 35 & in the Columbus city stockade. I didn't find Chelsey in 1940.

Best regards,
Debbie

I agree with you that there is a conflict. I descend from john Conrad Aderhold . My father & brother may have responded to the questionnaire you sent out, but did not give you much information. When my cousins & I found out that they blew off participating - we all got angry with them.

I am john Conrad Aderhold, to

Jordan Pate
I found your memorial for Jordan P.Pate and wondered if you had the names of his other 3 children. You mentioned he had 4, and one was James M. Pate. I believe they had a daughter named Ella and this particular Ella may be my ggg grandmother...I have been looking for her family for a long time. Any information you have would be great! Please email me at jfarrell1983@hotmail.com

Thanks!

Sarah Caraway Carson
Hello,
I saw your entry for Sarah Carson and was just curious about the name Caraway. She is my 3rd great grandmother and I've only ever heard her name as Sarah Reed Stanford or Sarah Stanford. I'm always interested in learning new things about my ancestors.
Thanks so much!

I added the picture to the record that you created. It would be nice if the other record were deleted, since yours was added before the other one and has a lot more info in it. I wish Find A Grave had a system for combining info into the oldest record and deleting the newer duplicates.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Mrs. Mary Ware and James J. Hunter
Hi, John,
Because her gravestone reflects "Mrs.", I am leaving it in her name. Yes, I realize that her marriages have been reflected, but I am honoring those who placed the gravestone.

As for James Hunter, I see the middle initial posted. I am uncertain as to why you believe it was removed.

When I have a correction submitted and I am told the first name of James and he was listed as J.J., I leave the middle initial.

Sometimes after viewing something that has been corrected, it may take a few minutes or even a couple hours for it to take effect. Also, sometimes I forget to refresh my screen, which will often reflect changes made.

I am well. It seems as though you are busy. Have you started on your books yet?

Since you apparently have no respect for dead babies and refuse to show any. I have no respect for you. Infant Daughter and Infant Son are those babies names and you cannot respect them enough to use capital letters in the name sections. Or you might be just to lazy to do so.

But, from now on, you send any corrects to edit@findagrave.com I will no longer accept requests of any kind from you.

Winn the mother of Tracie Delana Harris.
