I am currently photographing Midland Memorial Gardens, Lee Township, MI. Uploading will take some time. If you have a stone you would like added please let me know. |
In 2014 I photographed and uploaded all the headstones from the Old Calvery Cemetery in Midland.
In 2013 I photographed and uploaded all the headstones from Midland City Cemetery. I have some photos of stones that are illegible.
If I have added your family member and you would like to manage their memorials please request a transfer. My goal is to reunite family members with their loved ones.

|Michelle Fortney Woodall||Minnie Hickman|
Hi, my name is Michelle Woodall and I am looking for my great grandmother's grave. I am not sure if the Minnie Hickman that is in Midland is the one. My great grandmother was born about 1900 and I have no record of her death. She was born in Ashe North Carolina. Her name is Minnie Mahala Mary Jane Blevins and she married Taylor Johnson in the 1920's and after his death in 1957 their is no other record of her. Are you able to tell me if the Midland Minnie is my Minnie, or should I keep on searching? Any help would be appreciated! Thank you, Michelle

A small twig - lying upon a gravestone you photographed - has caused you to misidentify the poet and columnist Alta Booth DUNN as Alya. She was the wife of Edwin Dunn, Sr who died 1950, and the mother of Edwin Dunn, Jr, 1907-1985, a PhD biochemist who had a long career with Dow Chemical Co. There is a nice obituary for Alta B. Dunn in the Grace A. Dow library. Thanks for the fix.

Thanks, Rose. I really appreciate it. Uncle John & Aunt Tess had no children, but they had many nieces and nephews. I'm happy to be able to include some more info on their Memorials.
