Family tree and cemetery researcher for my own Comeau - Touchette - Henley - Deschenes - Spoor - Gauthier - Brault - Hade family. Then in turn for all my niblings: Saint Andre - Woodbury - Snow - Haney - Cox - Charron - Barthelette - Sobon - Fusari. Also, for my grand niblings: Cardinal - Omdal - Poljacik - Williams.|
Any cemetery photograph that I have posted is available for use for genealogical reasons. Credit me as Robert Comeau at findagrave. Normally only one side of a stone is shown for one person. The spouse of that person and their children would have the other sides.

|grave plotter||Re Berthelet plot|
I was looking into your photo request for Eustache Berthelet -- I could not find his plot unfortunately in the notre dame cemetery records -- even using different spellings -
But I was able to find his marriage record to Marguerite Raby- married September 14, 1846 in St. Eustache, Quebec, Canada . His parents names are Jacques Berthelet and Marguerite Filiatereault -- so he is not adopted.
Hopefully this will help in your search
Have GREAT DAY

Where is the Northhampton Memorial Wall located? Is I attached to a cemetery or a county courthouse? I was unable o locate several of the SAW veterans listed.

Hello Robert, you sent an edit to add the middle name of "Elizabeth" to the memorial for Sarah (Lyman) Strong (c.1746-1777), wife of John Strong of Southampton. I am a bit puzzled as middle names which were not family surnames were unheard of at that time (1740's), I checked her marriage and death records and on both she is listed as Sarah. Sarah had a sister named Elizabeth (1744-1762). I have attached the page from The Strong Genealogy (which details her family with John Strong) to the memorial in case you wish to have a look. Thanks, Jim

Curious to know your source for her birthplace & maiden name "Vail" ?

Sorry it's taken me so long to respond, but my husband had a stroke last Tuesday and it's been pretty hectic.
I've changed the name to Henry and I hope to get to Hamden Vital Records this week to look up his death record, weather permitting.

Mr. Comeau, I apologize we weren't able to clean it better for the photo, the ground is frozen and I didn't want to damage anything. We also set up a memorial for her husband, Ralph. I would be happy to transfer that to you if you would like. All the best, Bill and April
