|Brenda Joyce Jerome||Wolstenholme|
Would you please transfer the following memorials to me as they are part of my family:
Henry F. Wolstenholme #42497439
Mary B. Wolstenholme #42496063
Elizabeth Wolstenholme #42495471
All are buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Milan, TN
|Brenda Joyce Jerome||Aileen W Burch #43384622|
Her name on the tombstone is Aileen W Mathis and the dates are born Oct 8, 1885 and died Oct 12, 1978. There is a DAR plaque on the marker. Please make corrections. Thank you.

I plan to visit this cemetery Thursday (4 Sept) to see the graves of my Wolstenholme family in plot 239. It there a sexton's office with a map of the cemetery? If not, how would I find plot 239? Thanks for your help.
Julia 11272521 I sent some info to you on July 17, 2014. Is there a reason you have not updated her site? Do you think what I sent was wrong or have you just not gotten it? I would like to know. Thanks Jan

Thank you so very much for the transfers. I will continue to try to find information to add to them. I truly appreciate all the work you and your son have done for the cemetery. My grandson is getting ready to work on his Eagle project and I have several cemeteries here that I plan to suggest to him for clean up and restoration. So many times the graves have sunk in and then then stones have fallen into the hole and been covered over. But at least they are still there to be found: many have been destroyed and that is so very very sad.
I would love to know what you find when you go back in the fall.

Thanks for working on this to clear up spelling differences and duplicates. I appreciate it.

Yes, I had seen Hannah's memorial. Just now sent you an edit for her father - thought I had already done that but I see that I had not. I was working on getting all of Enoch's children connected to him when I noticed that I had a daughter listed who was born after both Enoch and Mary had died. So I began checking census and found she was John's child, Enoch's grandchild! Now I need to find out where I got that information and set that record right!
Thank you for all the work you've done on these cemeteries. It takes all of us working together to make this a viable research tool.
I have a photo of Robert's marker in Covert Cem. I can't post it due to the photo limit has already been reached. I can send it to you if you like.

Mary's maternal grandfather is my great-great-great grandfather. So family, yes; close? well, we share a common progenitor. I have been trying to get all of William H. Witt's children connected to him and then get as many connections for them as I can; Mary was one of my missing pieces as I had no idea where she was buried.
