My name is Jennifer. I am enthusiastic regarding genealogy. In my research I've found my family tree branches spread far and the roots reach deep into the building of our nation. This web site has allowed me to view and pay respects to my ancestors across the country, literally coast to coast. I am excited to participate in the find a grave community. I hope to help others as often as possible. So that they can connect with their people as I have been made able.
LEWIS & ALEXANDER Graves Never mind about the "incorrect section" mention in my previous message. I must have written it down incorrectly in my notes as "Section 32." It is correct on the memorial page.
I fulfilled your photo requests for Willis C. LEWIS, 1851-1936 (who is buried with Orpha E, 1864-1924). The section you have is incorrect for the family: it is Lawn 8, Section 52, Space 3. The cemetery has 10 Aug 1936 as a death date for Willis. I'm not sure if the burial date you have on 10 Oct 1936 is correct or not. It seems a long time to wait to have someone buried. Bertie E. ALEXANDER (23 Dec 1869 - 5 Dec 1946) and Emeline Esther LEWIS (25 Oct 1839 - 11 Feb 1893) are buried directly behind Willis and Orpha. Also, you had Lawn 13 listed for Bertie's gravesite, but he/she (?) is buried in Lawn 8, as I mentioned above.
I took several photos of this plot and would be happy to email them to you. Just send a message to me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Van Boskirk grave I walked this cemetery last summer and took pictures of every stone and entered them. There were many I could not read. I took pictures of them and studied them at home and if I could read anything from them I entered them. I went through them again tonight and did and find Andrew Van Boskirk. Sorry
It was my pleasure in assisting you with this request. If there are any other Rhode Island ancestors that you are interested in obtaining a photo of their final resting place, let me know and I will give it my best effort to obtain the pictures for you. Have a great day and enjoy.
