Is Death Date Correct for Julia (Duffy) Kelly?
I am wondering if someone inadvertently confused Julia (Duffy) Kelly's death date, displayed in her memorial, with the date of her second marriage to Peter Grey, which took place 5 Mar 1858 in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Waukegan, Illinois? Julia and Peter had several children together, so I believe her correct date of death is about 1872 in Lake County, Illinois instead.

How did you know for sure that your relative was buried in the cemetery or even in the hospital. Were there records to give you a source? I am looking for another one who might have been a patient and perhaps buried there. What would you suggest I do to find out? Thanks for any help you can give. Carol

Klutts family
As manager of the father's memorial, I cannot link the children to my memorial. Only the manager of the children's memorials can make the link to the father.

Doris Sandrock

Thank you so very much for sponsoring Doris Sandrock's memorial. That was very kind.

You have posted a very lovely memorial for her daughter. We've add many non-family memorials as our way of "giving back". We feel that we've suceeded when someone finds their loved one.

We would be very happy to transfer Doris into your care, if you would like. Please send us a SAC and us know.

Fond regards

Was I ever glad to find those graves. I have 9 family members buried there and it's not that big of a cemetery. I wanted those off the request list for a long time. I grew up in Lansing so I remember walking by the corner where Nate's service station was almost everyday. That corner is an auto repair place now. It still has his spirit I am sure. I hope you don't mind but there is a "Planet Hammond" Facebook page and I posted two pictures you had of Elizabeth Peters Larson - Find A Grave Memorial# 41401535 because they had a post of the house where she lived! It is a modern picture but the house is still there. If you have any photo's of them and Hammond the people on that page would love to see them.

RE: Ida Mallet grave, Oak Hill Cemetery
Cemetery office was very uncooperative. I placed three calls and they never got back to me. Went to the cemetery and found the manager who was unwilling to let me in the office or even provide me with a map to look some plots up. I was able to get information and map from the Hammond Public Library. I have a sad suspicion the cemetery records are incomplete or mismanaged. I uploaded the cemetery map here:

Took photos of three other Mallett's and posted them for Oak Hill.
