Bio and Links
Bio Photo We work as a team: Russian-Danish family living in London and currently working in the Middle East. County-keepers for England. Being foreigners in the countries we live in, we are very interested in all Russians and Danes who found their last resting place away from their home countries. We will be grateful for any comments, advice and links to memorials. Please add FAG (Find A Grave) when e-mailing

RE: Marie
That I couldn't say...in America we have a Statute of Limitations that would cover such a situation but I have no idea about there. I encountered nothing about that aspect of the matter and admit that I hadn't thought of it.

RE: Marie
Well, I thought I got it from Wikipedia, though it's not in the English version. Maybe Spanish or Russian. I know I would have checked for something that unusual in more than one place. A site called Billion Graves has the information but they may have gotten it from me.

If you have alternative information please let me know.

Thanks,

Bob

Kitty Bennett
Hi, julia&keld
I've been looking for information on Chief Steward James Mackie, who died on the Aparima in 1917. I think he may be my 2x great gradfather, who disappeared from Vermont in 1900. Supposedly, he went off to fight in the Boer War. Steward James fought in South Africa with Kitchener's Scouts, so that part definitely fits! If you have discovered any additional information on this man, I would be so grateful if you would contact me.

Best Wishes,

Amanda (kittybennett on findagrave)
