Shortly after my recent retirement I developed an interest in genealogy. After finding Find A Grave, I discovered many of my deceased friends and relatives had no memorial page honoring their lives and their memory.|
Memorial pages I have made for my beloved family members are my way of honoring their lives and ensuring they are remembered. I have included pages for friends and distant relatives that I have known over the years.
If I have made a memorial to a member of your family and you wish to have it removed, please let me know and your wishes will be honored. It is not my intent to offend any living family members. My sole intent is to honor the lives of those no longer with us. However, I do understand that each of us have different ways of honoring our deceased loved ones, and I will gladly remove a memorial if that is your wish. I will also make corrections, as requested, or transfer the memorial to family members of the deceased.
I wish to thank the many people that have left memorial gifts to my family members. I feel deeply touched when I read the beautiful comments left in honor and memory of my loved ones. I thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts.
Again, if I have added a memorial that you wish to have removed, corrected, or changed in any way, please send me your request and your wishes will certainly be honored.
In loving memory of each of our loved ones.

|Thomas Ray||RE: Ray Ancestry|
I am not sure what happen with my email, but it is email@example.com. I also have an ancestry.com account with a public profile for my family tree. Here is the link to it.
You are welcome to view it. I have some picture of my grandfather which is Thomas Otis Ray in the gallery that you are welcome to ass well.
I would love any information you have on any of the Ray side of the family. I recently did the ancestry DNA, and it shows that 52% of my ethnicity DNA if from Scotland. and 13% is from Scandinavia. Interestingly, the report showed that individuals that are native of Scotland only test at 62% ethnicity do to so many invasions of teh country over the years.
From what I am finding is that our name was spelled Reay in Scotland but changed to Ray when our ancestor came to America. However once I get past William Ray, I can't seem to find any lineage.
Thank you for your reply. Look forward to anything you can send.
|Daniel Champion||James Hicks...|
The James Ray Hicks I am thinking about was born about 1962. I think his dad is Cecil Ray Hicks maybe and his mother was a Kuykendahl....
Yes I noticed Emma Ray who was married to George Wakefield Champion I think it was. That George Wakefield Champion was a first cousin to my grandfather.
Digging around and came across your Carrie W Ray Hicks.
Any connection to LuEmma Souder Hicks of Jacksonville and then Rome, Georgia?
What about James Ray Hicks currently of Hokes Bluff?
|Thomas Ray||Joseph Oliver Ray|
My name is Thomas Ray. My grandfather is Thomas Otis Ray. Joseph Oliver Ray is my great grandfather. I never got to meet many of the Ray side of my family. I would love to have any information or pictures you have for Joseph Oliver Ray or any information about his descendants . I am doing my family tree research and I am struggling with the Ray side of the family. Thank you very much.

Hi, I am Belinda Ramey's daughter and I happened to stumble on this page, and I was just curious how you know my mom and if you're a relative of mine.

|Kitty Walker Lennard||Coooper memorial's|
There are 2 memorials that were made the day before You made Your's. I hope this is right I did not recheck, but when I began to try to get all of the memorials together, The contributor transferred them to Me. I did not ask. It is very hard to get a memorial deleted when it is not in Your name. I thought I would transfer these 2 to You and they will be your's , but You will not be able to delete them. You can transfer Your own and fix these as You would like. I hope this will be o.k. with You.

Thank's so much for the wonderful compliments and Yes it really is just barely in Talladega Co.The 3rd Cemetery was moved back to Talladega Co."today " , but We still have loads of duplicates.. You can just go to one of Your Dulaney memorials now and click on all Dulaney's in Talladega Co. You can see if You have a duplicate or if someone else has one of one of Yours. If You have duplicates and they are family, before You delete ask other person if they will delete theirs or transfer transfer it to You. Never can tell. Lot's of nice folk's , they may help. Let Me know if I have any of Your close family.
|Larry Morrison, Sr.||Larry Durwood Hicks (1951-1998)|
Thanks for sharing the memorial with very appreciated information. Mr. Hicks is a distant relative, but no less important to the history being archived in our tree on Ancestry.com. Would very much appreciate use of your information with the usual "copyright by & used with permission of" caveat & credit. We are striving to portray accurate information & revere & respect other efforts to do the same. Best Regards, Larry Morrison of Maumelle, Arkansas
|Sandy||RE: Baker H. Dulaney|
Thank you for the correction. Baker's son is at Blue Eye and they lived a short distance from Blue Eye, so it makes sense that he would be there. I am planning to go over there in a couple of months, so I will verify that he and his wife are there. I will check to see if his wife, Ann McClellan Dulaney is posted at both Plum Springs and Blue Eye. If she is, we can correct it. Thank you.
