Being both a genealogist and a "graver," I believe in tracing a person's history from birth to grave. Everybody deserves to be remembered; to have a marker or memorial to mark their passing from this world into the next. |
If I have input an immediate relative of yours (child, spouse, sibling, parents, uncle/aunt, grandparents - well you get the idea), and you do not want that person's memorial on this website, please let me know, and I will remove it promptly.
PROBLEMS/CORRECTIONS: Please let me know - I strive for accuracy. If something bothers you about a memorial, please let me know. I believe that the wishes of the descendants should be considered as well.
PHOTOS OF THE PEOPLE: I realize that this is a publicly viewable website, but out of courtesy, please ask before copying photos of the people.
PHOTOS OF THE GRAVES: Feel free to use them for your genealogical uses (but not commercial). All I ask, if you are using a photo that I took, please credit me as the photographer. ("Photo courtesy of findagrave.com contributor, B. MacBean.")
TRANSFERS: This site is not for "name collectors," but if the memorial is not a relative of mine, and he/she is a close relative of yours, I will be happy to transfer to you.

Hi, B. MacBean,
I have replaced the photo with one that shows the correct color of the grave marker.
Have an awesome day,
|Bill Bates||RE: Request|
Sure, you may use my photo(s) as you like.
However, if you'll wait a week or so, I'll go back at a different time of day and try to take better photos. These had sun glare and look a bit whiter/lighter than they really are.
Have an awesome day,

I am trying to help a descendant of Rosa and Collis' find Blanchette's Cove.
I was wondering if you've ever come across information that pinpointed it on a map.

Your info on James Bean was very helpful. I'm a Ph d Candidate working on how men and women in early america negotiated the experiences of excommunication, and was wondering where you got the primary sources on James Bean from, as I'd like to take a looksee at them. Do you know if the Brentwood Quaker minutes are still in existence?

Glad you wanted the link. I do the forget thing regularly. I was afraid maybe there were some hard feelings between the couple and maybe the family did not want the link. Glad to hear that was not the case.

Hi, I went to the owner of the William F Wagnon memorial to sent a message and saw your message wondering where the grave of Marguerite Oliphint Wagnon was. I have just put in a link for the two of them. So, in case you haven't found it yet, she is in the Omaha Cemetery in Omaha, Morris, Texas. I am also coming from her side, the Phillips' side. Are you?

Hi I was going through my Find A Grave requests and found I had transfered Leonard home to you. I clicked on his memorial and saw the updated bio. Thank you for bringing his story back to life on his memorial. I so enjoyed reading about him.

Thanks for your reply. We surmised this after research. However, I always check.
|Laurie "Gregson" Edgar||Transfer|
Would you mind transferring Jessie Mahala Bean Adams to me. Jessie was my great grandmother. Thanks, Laurie Edgar
|Lawrence Smith||RE: Thank You!|
You are very welcome. It gladdens me to be a service to you and your family. Please use the photo in any way. There is no need to give credit. We are all here to help each other.
