Hello to everyone, |
I retired from the Post Office in 2009. As a favor to my Mom, I started researching our family trees. I still can't believe how adictive it has become. I search out grave stones as my final documentation. Besides, I like knowing where my relatives are. Also, I really enjoy being able to leave flowers for the ones I can't visit.
Many of my photos are taken while strolling through cemeteries. If I am trying to fulfill a photo request, I will take pictures of all stones that I come across with the same name. Maybe they're kin or maybe someone will be looking for a long lost relative. I have found a lot that way.
I will be more than happy to transfer any memorial that I may have created as long as you are a relative. I love to see the pictures and other family information being added, that truely makes it a memorial.
My family trees include Blanton, Jarrell, Carter, Sieber, Johnson, Weber, Cline, King, Mathews, Taylor, and Waller, just to name a few.

Leroy and his wife are the parents of Monte Dale Dykes, who died in Vietnam. His application for military headstone says he is buried at Friendship. If you are in the cemetery,could you look for his stone, it would be a flat granite marker. I would think it would be near or next to his parents leroy and elizabeth.
Thanks for your time

Jacob is my 4th great uncle, and I was wondering if you might transfer his memorial to me. I realize my relationship to him is not precisely in the Find A Grave transfer guidelines, but he is one of my supplemental ancestors for my Sons of Confederate Veterans membership. I would like to be able to manage all the memorials for all my military ancestors, unless a memorial is already managed by a descendant.
Thank you for your consideration.

|Karen Carter Young||Lela Ann Blanton|
I haven't talked to you in a while. I hope you are doing well. I happened to run across the post that Cecil made just previous to this post and, when I checked, Lela Ann Blanton already has a memorial that was created in 2010, so I sent information which should link her to her parents.

Hi! My name is cecil blanton carter. I am the grandson of Isaac milton Blanton. I noticed that My Mother, Lela Ann Blanton Carter has been left off the list of Isaac Milton's children. She was born May 8th 1910 and died June 17th 1972. I'm sure she would like to be added to the list of children, as would I! Thanks!
|Patsy Luther||Rev. Frank Blanton|
My great great grandparents are Benjamin Franklin Blanton and Sarah Lucretia Boone Blanton. My great grandparents are Lucy Blanton & Aldine Spicer. Thank you for this information. My husband and I just moved from Leonard, Texas to Washington State to be with our children, grandchildren and great grandchild. We attended Blanton Chapel (Methodist) in which the congregation was mostly extended Blanton relatives.

This is my gg grandmother. If you'd like to know U.D.'s name, it's Uriah David Sneed. His mama had been buried somewhere else in Texas (I should know where, but have forgotten) and Uriah moved her up to Grayson. Uriah's son became a doctor who started a clinic in that county. Thanks for putting up the picture. In looking at it, I finally realized that I have had a shot of that stone for over a decade and I never thought to put it up here.
