Bio and Links
Bio Photo I love genealogy and am attempting to locate and link all of our family members and any others that I come across on Also tryng to add photos, vital records, census records and any other family photos that someone might enjoy.

I would like to thank all the people that have put my family on findagrave and have been kind enough to transfer my family memorials to me for management. Corrections are welcomed. Please use the edit tab on the memorial for suggestions.

If you copy pictures, markers or obituaries, etc. from my memorials, it is much appreciated and expected to include my memorial and findagrave name and number as the source.

"The Chosen"

We are the chosen. In each family there is one (or more) who seems called to find the ancestors. To put flesh on their bones and make them live again. To tell the family story and to feel that somehow they know and approve. Doing genealogy is not a cold gathering of facts but, instead, breathing life into all who have gone before. We are the story tellers of the tribe. All tribes (hopefully) have at least one. We have been called, as it were, by our genes. Those who have gone before cry out to us: Tell our story. So, we do. In finding them, we somehow find ourselves.

I see you added this picture of my grandfather to the find a grave website. Can I get your relationship? Also, if you have any other pictures to share that would be great. Had no idea what he looked like. I was an infant when he died.

RE: George Crofoot
Sorry it is no longer legible. I did confirm that this is his grave based on the last cemetery transcription project that was done there.

RE: Benevides marker
Hi Barbara,

I found numerous Benavide(Z) headstones next to Felipa. Her marker had the last name spelled with a Z. Just an FYI.

Sebastian Anaya
Please accept my apologies I mistakenly added a photo of Sebastian Benavides to Sebastian Anaya's page I have deleted it but you will need to add a request for him. I didn't find a headstone for either Anaya though when I was there

You are very welcome. Just wanted to say that when I saw your request, the name immediately jumped out at me despite not having the specific location. I often walk in the Main Mausoleum of Mountain View Cemetery to unwind and recalled the little section of the Gadebergs from years ago and how it stood out. It is a beautiful section so I wanted to include the gate and the engraved named at the top of their family section. Anyhow, I'm happy I could help.
