RE: Damase and Sophie Cyr
You are more than welcome. If you need anything else from St Mary's don't hesitate to ask.

Plot locations or pictures St Mary's I walk the cemetery a lot.

RE: How to find a grave
Barton stone is in Section E, plot 74K. Section E is the left front corner of the cemetery as you enter from Lonsdale ave (left after entering cemetery, right on South Ave, Sect E is on your left just as you make the turn). 74K is in the back row, farthest from South Ave. Good luck.

I found it today and you have it exactly right
When you stand in front of Virgina's stone start counting monuments to the left the 15th one is the other cyr same row ! wow!
I think he is buried at the original spot and she had his name on her stone so people knew he was her husband. I think you should link them together with the two different stones.
Good luck and it was fun thanks

Hi,
We were very close to finding that stone today
I enlarged the photo (john and paul)the photo of the two flags and in the left corner you can see part of another stone and along the bottom of that stone people have left small painted rocks. I saw those today when I was looking around for the the stone with Virgina and John it was to the left of there stone but quite a ways down I stopped and looked at those stones that they painted for there mother and I must not have looked behind me on that side. I don't remember the name on the stone
I am sure the other stone is there, and we were very close to it.
It was nice to meet you today.

I live about 100 yards from the cemetery I will walk around and look for you this Saturday. lol

if I figure it out or find it I will let you know
I think you are going to find out that someone changed the stone ! Maybe Virginia?
Please don't delete anything on the other one that you have I find it all very interesting.

Maybe the original stone was damaged and they had to replace it ?

Cyr John
I am very confused I am looking at the memorial for John W Cyr and it shows the dates as 1927-1976
and then Paul 1935-1991(on back) on the front it shows a branch with birds than I saw Virgina Burns Cyr picture on front is the same as John w back of stone is listing Virginia and John W Cyrs (no Paul) same dates for john W again 1927-1976. Is the same man listed on 2 stones?? with the same front the pictures are taken by you.
also can you link these please
