RE: Memorial Plaque for John Howland
Hi Nancy,

You suggested I contact CarolynA #47501717. I can't figure out how to do that, can you help me. I may have already done this, since this is old, but I was just going through my messages and thought I'd better make sure I followed up on this. Thanks, Cathy

Hi Ruth,

I guess you do not know where Gerrit and Sarah are buried. There was in the 1800s a cemetery, on what is now NYS Route 22, known as the Blossom Cemetery. it was just around the corner from where they lived. It has been gone for some time, stones and all. The Fort Ann Historian has no records on the burials and there were over 100.
Best regards,
Jim

RE: Blossom Farm Cemetery Pics
Thanks. I love the new pics. I think there is some good news in seeing the cemetery and that is he didn't plow the ground. From what I see it looks like some of the tombstones could be repaired to stand as they once did and possibly others could be recreated. Are there any cemetery records other than the single sheet you sent to me? KEEP up the good work.
