RE: Moorehead and Ashby

If Samuel is Libby's husband she might be buried next to his grave but with no marker. I have seen the city's cemetery records and I am not sure we will ever know whether or not she is buried there.

Moorehead and Ashby

My wife and I have searched the Memorial Park Cemetery twice and cannot find Sally Moorehead or Libby Ashby. We did find 10-12 Ashby's including Samuel, but not Libby. We have found no Moorehead's. The cemetery is very old and the records are a mess, but we will keep looking. Do you know what funeral home buried Sally?

RE: Robert Lee Bickers Lexington Cemetery
I have sent you an email about interesting information I discovered about Mr Bickers and the mystery of the grave marker. I spoke at length to the cemetery office staff.
The subject line of the email is "Robert Lee Bickers Lexington Cemetery photo request" and my email is (if may go to your junk folder).
Hope the information is helpful

Parents are attached to children. From the parent memorial I can do nothing, you must contact the childrens site.

Thomas Petty connection
I saw your post on the memorials for Thomas Petty and his wife Catherine Garton. They are also my 7th great grandparents. Please contact me at or on FB under Janie Wilkey. I have a picture of me in a red shirt standing in front of a wooden fence. I have a family tree with over 76,000 names in it and would like to share info with you.

I believe, when you look at that one photo, the grave marker should go where the small concrete slab is placed. I have a 'lot map' of that section and that is how I located the grave. If you call the cemetery office, have them confirm if there is a marker. I will be happy to go back out there and take a photo if I have made an error. I found it odd to just see a small concrete slab. However, I also looked all in the surrounding area. Again, let me know if there is further info and I go back out there.
