Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've been doing genealogy for about two years now and am finding it more and more interesting the more in depth I get. I love all the stories of our ancestors! As you can see from my photo, my other main interest is quilting.

Hi Paula,

I have linked him to his parents. Let me know if you want any of the family transferred to you. I think there are about 14 that I can transfer if you want. Thanks for the info and have a great day!

P.S.: I love your quilts, very beautiful!

You're welcome Paula! Isn't it great to find cousins who have been to one of the cemeteries and took photos where we couldn't get one. I just stumbled upon a 5th Cuz Doug A. Moore who was fortunate enough to travel and take some great cemetery and gravestone photos. Connie

Capt. John Babcock
Regarding your posted photo, I don't think it is him. He lived in the 1600s and he is not wearing clothes they wore in the 1600s or even 1700s. He is wearing long pants, which weren't worn until the 1800s. Maybe it is a different Capt. John Babcock. Please check your source.

George Skelly

Hi. I saw the request for a picture of George Skelly's stone. I photographed all the stones that are stored in the Lutheran Church and was unable to find one for him. I did find a stone for his wife. The graveyard was paved over to make room for parking and it seems that the stones were removed before the paving. There is no evidence that the graves were ever relocated. There are many stones missing and no one seems to know what happened to them. What stones do exist are stored in the basement of the church.

I'm sorry that it seems that George's stone may never be found.
