Retired Federal Law Enforcement Officer with over 29 years of service. I am also the wife of a retired US Army soldier and the mother of a soldier who was injured in Iraq from an IED but was able to complete his tour of duty! SUPPORT THE TROOPS!!!!
After having problems with a couple of contributors, I will follow the Findagrave guidelines for transferring memorials.
28 Mar-AGAIN! DUE TO ANCESTRY.COM CHANGING FLOWERS ON MEMORIALS WITHOUT SUGGESTION OR WARNING AND MODIFYING MY BIO -NO INFORMATION, I REPEAT NO INFORMATION, OR PICTURES I HAVE ADDED TO ANY MEMORIAL MAY BE USED WITHOUT MY PERMISSION OR REPOSTED/CROPPED IN ANY WAY AS HIS/HER OWN PHOTOS.
For those making suggestions, please research and provide the researched information for me to update. Additionally; 1: If someone has a duplicate memorial, courtesy is to ask that individual to delete it FIRST before asking Findagrave to get involved, and 2. When you receive an edit request please DO NOT update the information you received and then decline the edit you received - that is just NOT cool!
HEADSTONE PHOTO VOLUNTEERS-If you volunteer and post headstone photos, please take a photo of the COMPLETE marker. I find more and more some individuals crop the bottom of the markers off - especially on military grave sites, which does an injustice to our veterans and the photos were supposedly taken by ex-military individual(s). You took the time to take the photo, then PLEASE take the time to crop correctly.
SSDI-Regarding the "Last Residence" in the SSDI: This is the last address of record, not necessarily where the individual died. Please do not ask me to list it as the place of death on memorial pages - to do so would only be a guess.
I work hard on Findagrave and have sponsored quite a few memorials. Please be a contributor and not just a person who adds names. It's great to see the people who do provide research.

Wanted to thank you for your time and effort to get the very nice photos. They are very much appreciated. Best photos I have seen in a long time.

When I write that I will "share the photos" with their daughters, I mean that I will share the URL for your memorial on Find-a-Grave so that they can click it to view your photos.
May I have your permission to add the picture of Natalie's grave marker to their family tree on Ancestry.com? I have family pictures of George and his girls, but I have no pictures of Natalie to add to their family tree. A photo of the grave marker would be a nice addition. I will give you full credit for taking the photo and use it exactly as you posted it. Again, Best Regards,

Natalie and George were my neighbors and friends while stationed at Schofield Barracks on Oahu, Hawaii in the late 1970's. They moved to El Paso. I moved to San Antonio, which considering the size of Texas, was worlds apart. We stayed in contact for decades, George and I even after Natalie passed. Such wonderful people and good friends. Thank you for photographing their grave markers for me. I will share the photos with their daughters. Best Regards.

He kinda picked me. He was on my list for Concordia Veterans. I think his DC stated Evergreen Alameda. Just wanted to confirm his location. I'm glad it was you that did the photo. This man deserves recognition.

Thank you kindly for taking the time to locate, photograph and post the tombstone photo to Find A Grave. Thank you for all the great work you have done for Find A Grave. May I have permission to use the photo in my ancestry.com family file and if allowed, how do you want photo credit given? Thank you!

Thank you so much for the photo for Guillermo. He was one of 504 men from 1st Battalion 5th Infantry Regiment (Bobcats) that was killed in Vietnam. Soon I will have them all back together again where they belong and then my work will be done.
