|Cheryl E Flothe||Pamelia Ann Wiggins Smith|
I am a 2nd Great-niece of Pamelia Ann Wiggins Smith, although I didn't know until recently. We visited the graves of Pamelia and her mother, Frances Leggett (Le Gette) Wiggins, as well as the Wahee Methodist Cemetery near where our 3rd great-grandfather William Shaw lived and other places our Shaw uncles and grandfathers are buried.
Do you know if there are any documents existing about Pamelia's birth that confirm she was Frances Leggett Shaw Wiggins daughter? We're trying to track down any confirmation we can about our 3rd Great-grandmother, Frances Leggett Shaw, 1765-1845. We know William Shaw claimed a number of children who might have been born after Frances Leggett Shaw was probably past the age to give birth (in 1825 she would have been 60 and there were two other children, William-1829, Sarah-1830, and Henry-1834). We read their names as William Shaw's sons and daughters in the Probate Documents for William Shaw, Jr., who died in 1857.
We're wondering if maybe Frances Leggett Shaw was born after 1765.
Also, do you know how we could get the burial documents for Pamelia Ann? Any help you can find or direct us to would be amazing.
Thanks so much,
Cheryl Flothe (my mother was Dorothy Shaw)

What cemetery should Ethel's memorial be in? You sent me an email saying it's in wrong cemetery but you didn't tell me where to move it to
