RE: Liverman's
Benjamin F. Liverman's death cert has nothing on it re. cemetery except the name. His bill from the John F. Ferry & Sons Undertakers just lists supplies like casket & box, embalming, suit, gloves, hearse, three cars. Total came to $233.00. Wonder if the undertaker records are somewhere???

Found another death certificate for Grace May Liverman (wife of J. C. Liverman) who was also buried in Farm Hill Old Cemetery. She died March 7, 1913. She was the wife of Benjamin Franklin Liverman's son John.

Tom, my husband who's side this is, and I walked the Old Farm Hill Cemetery and there were no grave stones for the Liverman's that we could find - this was several years ago.

RE: Mathew Liverman
Okay things are beginning to clear. Emma J. Liverman died from Puerperal....which means, according to the internet, in childbirth. So she was first buried in Pine Grove in May and then in November (after her son Mathew had died in Sept, and was buried in Old Farms) she was relocated to Old Farms. This is stated on the back of her certified death certificate. It states specifically: This Certificate received for record on the 20th of May 1898 W. C. Howard Place of Burial, Pine Grove Cemetery and underneath "to Farms Hill Old Nov. 14, 18.. (last two numbers undreadable). Her husband, Benjamin Franklin Liverman's death cert. says Place of Burial: Farm Hill, Middletown, Conn.

We never had little Mathew's information. You've cleared up a couple of things...

Do you think, with the information we have, we can add Emma and Benjamin to Old Farms?

How do you get to look at the burial stuff on line? Do you think they would have made some sort of notation that she was moved from Pine Grove to Old Farms?

RE: Liverman's
Benjamin F. Liverman's death certificate states he was buried in Farm Hill Cemetery, Middletown, CT. Born: 1856; Died: 31 Aug. 1928. His wife: Emma J. Liverman was born 6 Sept 1864 and died 20 May 1898. Hers says, Place of Burial, Pine Grove Cemetery then Rems to Farm Hill Old Nov 14, ___ rest unreadable.

Liverman's
My husband's gr grandparents Benjamin Franklin Liverman and Emma Johnson Liverman are supposed to be buried in Farm Hill Cemetery, Middletown, Middlesex Co., CT. Have you come across these names in your recording? I don't want to enter them if they're already somewhere and, of course, don't want to enter them in error. I don't bring them up and don't see them listed in either Old Farm or New Farm Hill Cemeteries. Any suggestions? Gale

Thank you SO much for getting a picture of him for me today, Ruth. In another few years, those old stones may not be there any longer. Bless your heart for all the work you've done to document them. Thank you again.
