We have been researching our family for about 23 years and have traveled to several states for genealogy. Many of our memorials are for "extended" family members, but others are not. We hope someone finds the information we post helpful in their own research.|
Except for those photos listed within our *Posted with Permission* virtual cem, every tombstone or cemetery photo we post was taken by us on the date indicated in the photo caption.
TIP: With the 3000 kb photo size limit, there are (generally-speaking) three clicks to full-sized photos on Find A Grave:
1. Left-Click on Memorial's Photo Tab.
2. Left-Click on individual Photo.
3. Left-Click on Photo (when it loads into a new browser window).

OUR PHOTO POLICY:
-- All contributor-posted photographs are intended for PERSONAL USE, unless stated otherwise. As such, and to comply with current Copyright Law, you SHOULD NOT post (and/or republish) any contributor's cemetery or tombstone photos elsewhere without permission.
-- Regarding our cemetery and tombstone photographs, specifically, we will usually grant permission for unaltered OTHER USE when asked, but with the added stipulation that you provide a photo source citation (by referencing both "Find A Grave" [or www.findagrave.com] AND our profile name AND # in the Description) for any photographs taken from this website; for example, "Photo courtesy of Find A Grave Contributor: Law-Miller Roots (#47103448)".
If you choose not to do this one SIMPLE thing, then we will work to have our copied photos removed - as we retain the copyright on ALL photographs that we have taken and posted. It is actually NOT acceptable to just indicate you took the photo from Find A Grave (since this site does not own the copyright to any of the contributor-posted photographs).
-- Note that you can provide a link back to the Find A Grave memorial, instead of copying (i.e. Ancestry's built-in "weblinks" function can be used for this exact purpose). This option works quite well.
-- Finally, Please do not download and then republish any family portraits we post, as these come from private family collections.

NOTE: If we've submitted a memorial that you want to make corrections to, or if you would like a memorial transferred (and we're not also related in some way) let us know via the Edit Tab and we'll take care of it asap.

Thank you so very much for the Find A Grave Photo!! It is the first one I have been successful at getting a copy of. Francis Clum is my Gt Gt Grandfather and I am so grateful to you. I have been doing genealogy for about 8 years, although it has been hit and miss. Just not enough time at this point. When something like this happens, it encourages me to go on.

Best pic of 3 I took. Seems like everytime I go down there I get rained on, lol! I had to cut my day short. Glad it helped. He's easy to find so will keep it in mind again next time through.

|Harriette Jensen||Genevieve Decon (sic)|
Although ancestry has transcribed her surname in the censuses as Decon, Genevieve's last name is DeCou.

|Sharen A. Durler-Pflughoeft||Fountain Cemetery: Florence A Kempher|
Many thanks for adding the location of the unmarked grave of Florence Augusta (Johnston) Kempher AND for the wonderful group shot with the yellow flower pot showing where Florence's grave is in relation to other Kempher Family members. This means so much and I so appreciate the extra effort that you made in adding the caption. Hope you have a wonderful spring!!!
